Renault Clio Gordini joins the Renault range

The new Clio Gordini will be available in the UK with a three-door body style, and a choice of two engine options. The first is a 1.6-litre VVT petrol unit with 128bhp, which allows the car to go from 0-100km/h in 9.3 seconds. The second Clio Gordini model comes with a 1.5-litre dCi turbo diesel which packs 106bhp.Both Clio Gordini models come with a standard Glacier White body colour with contrasting anthracite grey Gordini racing stripes, door mirrors and front bumper insert, while three other colours are available as options, Malta Blue, Pearl Black and Ruby Red. Gordini badges, 16-inch Turini alloy wheels, a body colour rear spoiler and twin tailpipe exhausts round off the exterior package.
Inside, the Clio Gordini features standard grey or blue cloth upholstery, with grey or blue leather being optional, a leather steering wheel with grey detail and white stripe, satin chrome effect gear knob with blue Gordini badge and black surround with satin chrome gaiter lever. Other highlights include the gloss black detailing for the centre console and dash and air vent surrounds, plus a white rev counter, while among the standard specification are a radio CD, auto lights and wipers, climate control, cruise control and front curtain airbags.
