Renault has announced that its all-electric Scenic E-Tech family car has been upgraded with new features and equipment.
Electric versions of the Scenic E-Tech with regenerative braking systems and steering-wheel paddles will now include One Pedal, enabling smoother rides and less wear and tear. An 11kW AC two-way charger now comes as standard, with a new 22kW AC bidirectional fast charger available as an option by the third quarter of 2025.
In the Esprit Alpine trim, the front seats now come standard with electric adjustments in six directions, in addition to the already present lumbar adjustment and heating function. The driver's seat also offers a massage function. In the Iconic trim, two interior ambiances are offered: Standard titanium black upholstery and pure cool grey upholstery. In addition, the passenger seat is now electrically adjustable.
Both trims now feature a camera built into the left-side A-pillar, which has a driver recognition system that switches on every time the car starts. It can store the driver's favoured settings and perform safety measurements if it detects yawning or heavy eyelids.
The Scenic E-Tech's openR link multimedia system offer a host of connectivity features such as planning and recalculating of the selected route, choosing the route that requires the least battery charge, and alerting the driver of community warnings like jams or closed roads.
It also includes the connected maintenance service, allowing customers to book an appointment to the garage via the My Renault app and alerting them if something in the vehicle requires their attention.
