Renault announces the Clio Gordini 200

The Clio Gordini 200 will be painted in metallic Malta Blue, with white racing stripes, and production will be limited to just 500 units. Other cosmetic additions include glossy black bumper parts, white mirrors and unique 17-inch alloy wheels with a polished face and black inner rim. The car is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 200bhp, with Brembo brakes coming as standard.

Renault will also offer a Cup Chassis package, which comes with stiffer springs and dampers, red-painted callipers, quicker steering, and a lowered ride height, and can be specified as an option. Other options available include an electric panoramic sunroof, and blue inner rim for the wheels.

Inside, the Clio Gordini 200 features dark grey leather seats with blue details and Gordini-embossed logos, while blue detailing is also found the gearlever gaiter and Gordini-badged gear knob. The steering wheel is finished in blue and dark grey leather with two white stripes. The white rev counter, black gloss finish to the centre console, fascia inserts and air vent surrounds and a plaque indicating the build number completes the interior.

Standard equipment include climate control, radio-CD with Bluetooth hands free system with fingertip remote control and multifunctional TunePoint with USB connection, and double optic headlamps with additional cornering lights.
