Review
Interesting dashboard design with opposite sweeping rpm meter and touch screen AC control/audio. The steering wheel is chunky and small which I like. The car have nice torque even though it is 1.2/3 cylinder but it is rough when push hard, it lacks the refinement and the gearbox is not as responsive.

- Price, in the price range of golf.

Review
Collected my car and drove for 2 weeks plus. Lovely every moment when driving it. Previous ride was a Japanese car, to compare, 308 feel is much nicer and quieter. Features are well equipped and feel very advanced, everything uses the touch screen to navigate. Suspension is a little firm to my liking, feels abit sport. Turbo 1.2 engine perform very well, fun to drive with and overtaking is easy.
FC is about 12km per liter, on 50% City 50% Highway. Compartments are a little small, especially glove box. Hate the eco mode feature, every time start engine, the eco mode will activate automatically, which no ways to permanently disabling it. Lastly, The only thing I feel missing is electric seats, for this mid class, I think it's the least thing to include.

Review
We were looking around for a hatchback/SUV to replace our Honda Fit. Tested a few from Mazda 3, A Class, Jazz, Qashqai, Tuscon, Rav, etc. Must agree that this car offers a lot of features at a good price.

One of the first observations is a small steering wheel but we got used to it pretty quickly. The seats are comfortable like a sofa. The keyless design also makes it very convenient to lock/unlock/start/stop car.

The pick up is considered good for a 1.2L car. Overall happy and hope it stays reliable for the years to come.

What I like
Built in features like Blind spot monitoring system, type pressure monitoring system, small and responsive engine, moonroof.

What I do not like
Rear seats do not fold flat, engine cut off on stop cannot be turned off by default. No rear aircon vents. Rear leg room a little cramped. Really small glove box.

Review
Car of the Year for 2014, needless to say much anticipation and expectation have been clamoring by potential buyers for this cars.

I have drove around for a week and clocked 500km thus far. Obviously can't comment much on reliability etc but will like to share on the feel and drive.

1) Aesthetics
Outwardly the car looks classy and mature from its predecessor. Looks well groom and a lovely car to own. The interior is more modern by having a minimalist look on the dashboard. Smaller wheel with flat bottom gives the sporty look! The 17" Rims does enhance the size of the car.

2) Features & Comfort
The Allure version have almost all AUTO feature like keyless, push button, electric handbrake, wipers, headlights, park assist and even cruise and speed limiter function. The panoramic glass roof beats its contemporary like Golf etc. Seats are surprisingly comfortable and holds your side well especially during turning. For a small hatch like this, the 470 litres boot space is considered huge but though the rear seats legroom are a little cramp.

3) Driveability
Well, most surprising is its 1.2 litre engine that is rated at 129bhp and 230Nm at 1,700rpm... The ability to reach its peak torque at such low engine speed means the pickup is really good. In fact its rated at 10sec plus for century sprint. I didn't clock the timing obviously for safety reason but must say overtaking and moving is quite a breeze for this size of car. Electric steering wheel differs much from those typical older cars where you can "Feel" The road in your hands but after a while getting used to the new steering, somehow there are no negative comments on it.

Overall I will recommend this car for small families and singles etc though it will still be good for individual to test drive and assess their own needs.

What I like
1. Sporty drives, good looks and feel
2. Features are generous and large pano roof
3. Pickup and drive ability, perky small engine ($408 road tax per year!!)
4. Minimalist looks in interior, comfy seats
5. The auto on and off of electric park brake means you can literally forgo this function when moving off and turning off the engine!!
6. Price for the Allure version (full specs) is better than nearest competitor Golf (1.4TSI EQP which is the closest comparable in features)
7. Cabin noise is quite good though cannot compare to those luxurious models of course but definitely outperforms those B&B Jap cars

What I do not like
1. Aircon in multi-function display requires additional steps to adjust, the response are not as well done as Apple's product likes...
2. GPS function, no MCE? Navigation is pretty precise but search function is more troublesome than Garmin likes. No searching by postal code! but hey we don't buy car for its GPS!!

Review
Those who want a continental car that falls in Cat A COE, can try this. It is probably one of the more well rounded car in its class.

With its turbo engine, it is punchy when driven hard and the gearbox is smooth. However, it is slightly slower than a DSG gearbox.

Inside, it is spacious enough a family of four and with the panoramic sunroof, it makes the cabin feel airy and big. The dashboard is clean and simple with the touchscreen infotainment making the car look more expensive than it is. The small steering makes turning easy and parking the car is no hardship. Some people might find the speedometer placing weird but I am ok with it.

What I like
- good design
- spacious interior
- classy design inside and out
- engine is torquey and likely to be efficient
- better than the automated manual gearbox it uses for its older model
- hopefully more reliable without a DSG gearbox
- decent value for money

What I do not like
- speedometer location
- engine has slight turbo lag
