Skoda has introduced the new Enyaq iV RS, which is the second electric model in the RS lineup following the Enyaq Coupe iV RS.
The Enyaq iV RS will boast all-wheel drive, and two electric motors with a combined output of 295bhp and 460Nm of torque. The zero to 100km/h sprint is done in just 6.5 seconds.
The 82kWh battery, combined with high energy efficiency and a drag coefficient of 0.265Cd, gives the model a driving range of over 500km.
Equipped to offer a maximum charging speed of 135kW, the Enyaq iV RS's battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 36 minutes at fast charging stations.
The car will also sport a dynamic look, with sports suspension as standard, and large 20 or 21-inch wheels to make it instantaneously recognisable as a RS model. The wheels come with streamlined plastic aero inserts, which have a positive influence on the aerodynamics.
Despite its sporting appearance and keen handling, the new Enyaq iV RS offers a generous amount of space for up to five people.
The SUV is 4,653mm long, 1,879mm wide and 1,605mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,768mm.
Boot capacity is at 585 litres, and can be expanded to up to 1,710 litres by folding down the rear seat backrests. This means that the Enyaq iV RS should be able to do a good job of hauling a family's luggages if need be.
