Singapore Association for Mental Health gets a new Hiace from Borneo Motors

After an official handover ceremony held at the Toyota Leng Kee Showroom, Borneo Motors Singapore, the authorised distributor for Toyota in Singapore, announced that it has donated a Toyota Hiace to the Singapore Association for Mental health (SAMH). 

The donation of the vehicle aims will support SAMH in helping to uplift lives in Singapore by enhancing their ability to reach out to the community. 

The donated vehicle will enable SAMH to provide support for persons in recovery and the community at large. Amongst other objectives, the vehicle will be used to provide a safe and timely mode of transport for beneficiaries attending the programmes and activities across SAMH centres, and increase awareness and outreach efforts in the community. 

Other than rehabilitation services, SAMH conducts community outreach and creative programmes to educate and provide support to Singaporeans. SAMH also provides counselling and skills-based programmes to support the mental and emotional well-being for persons in recovery and the community at large.
