The XPENG X9 MPV, previously previewed at the opening of the XPENG showroom in Singapore, is now finally available to Singapore customers as a right-hand drive (RHD) model. The car's presentation at the 2025 Singapore Motor Show also marks the global debut of the RHD variant.
5,293mm long and 1,988mm wide, the X9 is a bold, seven-seater MPV wrapped in a stark and futuristic shell. Equally forward-looking is the technology that the X9 seeks to deliver - the feature-packed MPV has a 21.4-inch entertainment display for rear passengers, and comes equipped with a 23-speaker Xopera Audio System and a Windless Surrounding Central Air Conditioning system that produces a gentle, comfortable breeze.
Second-row passengers also get the best seats in the house - the zero-gravity chairs offer ventilation and ten-point massage functions.
The X9 is offered in two variants - Standard and Long Range. Both variants offer 235kW of power and 450Nm of torque, and can complete the century sprint in 7.7 seconds. The Standard variant has a 84.5kWh battery that promises 480km of range, while the Long Range gets a larger 101.15kWh battery with a claimed 575km of range. The 800V architecture allows a maximum charging power of 330kW, which can bring the battery from 10 to 80% in 20 minutes.
From 9-12 January 2025, visitors who purchase an XPENG model stand a chance to win an overseas trip for two to either Amsterdam, Bali, Bangkok, Guangzhou, or South Korea. Following the Singapore Motorshow 2025, the XPENG X9 will be displayed at the XPENG Showroom at 281 Alexandra Road, the brand’s fourth brand experience store in Southeast Asia.
The X9 has an indicative pricing from $315,000, and is offered with a $5,000 early bird discount. The X9 will be available for purchase from end-January onwards, and first deliveries of the car are estimated to begin in March.
