Citroen reveals new limited edition C5 X Hypnos

Citroen has unveiled a limited edition C5 X Hypnos.

As you might have guessed, the car is inspired by the Greek god Hypnos, god of sleep, and has been developed as a showcase of the best the C5 X has to offer when it comes to onboard well-being.

The upper section of the seats and headrests in the C5 X Hypnos are upholstered in a warm and soft grey Alcantara

The Citroen C5 X Hypnos comes with an Eclipse blue exterior finish, while the seats in its cabin are upholstered a light coloured leather, allowing the car to mimic the contrast between day and night. The car is also based on the top-of-the-range 'Max' trim level, to offer the highest possible comfort of passengers.

This exterior colour is paired with a gloss black decorative element on each side of the wing and front door, animated by a red slash down the side and containing the Hypnos signature at its centre. At the rear, the C5 X badge also makes use of red for the '5'.

In the cabin, the limited edition car gets a glass sunroof, heated, massaging and ventilated front seats, as well as special floor mats. These will pair with Citroen's Advanced Comfort active suspension and its Advanced Comfort seats, as well as acoustic front and rear windows to ensure a high well-being for all seated within.

The Citroen C5 X Hypnos is available exclusively with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain that utilises a 1.6-litre mild-hybrid engine and a 12.4kWh to develop a system total of 222bhp.
