Review
Felt some noises when I am doing braking to stop my car. Proceed to visit my workshop and do a check. Brake pad is worn out and replace them with this set of TRW brake pads. No more unnecessary vibration and squeal noise. Better control of my car now.
What I like
No more brake noise. Better control with less squeal.
What I do not like
Yet to experience whether is the wear rate is better

Toyota Wish
Review
Replaced my 2015 Wish's original-from-factory front brake pads (brand: Advics) with TRW DTEC pads. My general impression is that they are slightly noticeably grippy than the factory-fitted ones, more so after a month of driving with them. I still think they need a break-in period despite having the vaunted COTEC coating. I can feel that lesser force is needed to depress the brake pedal for the same sense of deceleration.
I paid S$120 for the front set + installation at a workshop in Yishun. For about the same price you could get possibly grippier pads like Metal Kings, Ultimates from certain brands but you'd also be wearing away the brake rotors faster (about S$100-150 a piece aftermarket for Corolla, Wish). TRW DTECs don't seem to be rotor-eaters from what I've read online, and I feel confident buying from that brand/company (TRW is a very old company).
