Review Going electric in a premium crossover? This BMW iX1 is the current straightforward choice - it ducks under the Cat A requirements, and offers class-leading space.
What I like It's upright and tall unlike the EQA, and that translates into a significantly observable greater space within, especially if you're seated at the rear.
And it feels faster from word go next to the petrol-burning BMW X1. Everything else is sensible BMW - OS 9 works ok, and build quality here is certainly a league above what you get in a compact Mercedes.
Comfort is also high in this iX1.
What I do not like Lower bumper treatment really needs some simplification.
