Finally came to the day of replacement of tyres on my wife's car. Once again, the buying experience provided through Kelvin was just like the last time i visited him... Professional, friendly and price competitive (slight premium over online tyre merchant)! Settled on a second set of Goodyear efficientgrip with peace of mind after he showed me his entire ex-stock inventory of 205/55/16. Keep up the good job Kelvin and team!

Called Kevin and a few other shop to check out price
But in the end decided to drive down to Soon Huat instead

After showing the damage to them went ahead to change all 4 of my tyres as they are also due and my Yokohama tyre is already turning hard noisy

Viewed a few but in the end stick to my choice of Michelin PS3 for a comfortable ride.

Kudos will return when my tyre is due in a few years and also will recommend my friends to this wonderful shop

I went there to change to second hand tyres of Goodyear as quoted over the phone.
When i reached there, he told me that the goodyear tyre left 1 only and explained to me after he checked the tyre it was damaged thats why he didnt want to sell it to me. I find this very professional of him.

I changed to another brand for a lesser price thanks to Kelvin.
He also advised me about rims and tyres for my cars.
It was raining and he was willing to get drenched under the rain to check my tyres and explain to me.

Theres not many places where you can find this sort of passionate workshop car owners.
I hope they keep up this standard of servicing for all their clients and future clients in the future.

Read alot of good reviews on SH and decided to give it a try. Below is my honest feedback base on my encounter with them.

Change whole set of tyres to Goodyear Efficient Grip with SH today. Boss Kelvin is very friendly, knowledgeable and honest in his dealing with me. No hard selling and overall I enjoy the experience with them.

Price of the tyres are one of the cheapest that I can find. Even if you can find a shop that are few bucks cheaper, think of the other side, its the service that makes me dun mind spending a few bucks more. On top of that, kelvin gives free rotation and nitrogen top up.

What started out as a bad morning turned out well as I believe I've found my new regular car servicers. Could not start the car this morning as the battery died on me.

Went through the forum to find a workshop that is relatively near my place and found Soon Huat Tyres Pte Ltd. Called up, and was attended to shortly after. Mechanic Ah Shang came, and did a swift and tidy job at replacing my battery. Full marks to him!

I'll head on down next week for full servicing, to see how it measures up to my first impression.

Came here to get the Michelin Pilot Sport 3s and have them installed by the friendly and professional staff. Price was quite ok and not too expensive and I have no problems whatsoever. Will consider in future for another tyre change.

My rear left tire suddenly puntured when I drove out of my car park. Stopped by the roadside and called my regular car workshop for on site but they bdo not provide on site servive to private cars.

In the end search on Google and got the result for Soon Huat Tyre with many good reviews and gave them a call. Was surprise the boss answered his mobile on a Sunday afternoon and he arranged for an on site tech to come and take a look.

Tech arrived in 15 minutes and take a look at my tire, pumped air and found that the inside wall have cracked and cannot be patched, took my tire back to workshop and changed to a Nexen Nblue HD within 40 minutes.

Will definitely go back to change my remaining tyres as the lifespan is up (100k km) and for servicing.

Car broke down on a Saturday night, called for the towing service, was fast and vehicle towed to workshop. Next working day, went down to check on the vehicle, mechanic told me that my battery needs to be changed, together with my alternator.

Came back next day to get my car, paid for the battery and alternator change.

1 month down the road, my car can't start, called Ah Sheng the mechanic, and he came down to my car park to jump start my car, and after testing, mentioned that its battery problem. As he didn't bring the correct battery type, drove down to the workshop and he replaced a new one for me with no charge.

I would like to commend Ah Sheng for his good service ! Thanks ! Will come back in future for servicing, tire change and any car related matters !

I've went here a few months ago to patch up my tyre as it had a puncture. I thought since i was there i'd change all my tires since they were almost due for a change. The worker there was honest enough to tell me to not waste my money as the tires still had some mileage left in them. Talk about honesty! So I patched my tyre and left. The time finally came to change my tires and when i smsed Kelvin, the towkay, about his recommendations, he gave me 2 choices with quotes. When I asked another question, this was past 7pm, he still took the time to answer me. Awesome service. Went to change my tires today and the service was excellent and workers were friendly. Kelvin even took the time to chat with me and explain certain aspects of the tires and the business.Even managed to get a discount on my tyres and they cleaned my rims for me. Price includes free future rotation and top up of nitrogen gas. This place is highly recommended for their pricing and service!!!! I will definitely go back again and will recommend this place to everyone.

Best priced offered for a set of new Goodyear efficientgrip 235/55/17 for my ride. Kelvin was both knowledgeable and friendly offering valuable advice during the entire installation period. I think the best thing was the trust he had in a new customer like me who just gave a verbal commitment to purchase over the phone. Thumbs up for Kelvin and I will be sure to get a set of 205/45/17 tyres from him in the coming months for my second ride!

Have been searching for new tire and found SOON HUAT price offer is cheaper.
Gave a call to Kelvin and confirmed got stock. But when I came there 5 days later,
Kelvin searched for the tyre at the workshop and confirmed it was out of stock.
Actually it was my mistake for not calling him before i come to comfirm the stock again.
.However, he promised me that he will order the stock and asked me to come back in a week's time.On top of that he gave me further discount.
Today morning ( 16/02/2013) I was there.The tires were in stock.The atmosphere was cordial.We engaged in a small conversation together with another customer.I also spoke to the staff whist he was fixing up the tires.Friendly and good customer service from KELVIN and the STAFF. Big thumbs up.

No fresh tires if you are looking for one.
When i got the tires a few months back, i left the car there and went for kopi nearby so i did not know that they tighten the wheel nuts simply by air wrench until last week when i sent in for rotation. When i questioned the mechanic about the tightening method, he simply replied "very tight liao, don't worry"

I guess this is the one and only business i'm giving to them.
Going to forego the rest of the free rotation sessions as well.

went to soon huat to change my rubbers. price was okay can be cheaper but no choice had to change there since tyre blown alrdy.

Burst a tire and engaged their towing services. Given that my current set is nearing their lifespan, decided to upgrade my set of rims and tires at Soon Huat. Stock was not available. However, Boss gave his commitment of 1 hour for delivery. Installation was prompt as he went to pick up the tires.

Went over after doing my checks on tyre availability. Kelvin responded to my call and recommended me the Nexen tyres. After doing my checks online, realized that the tyre offered (Nexen N'Blue HD) came out third in the Auto Express Eco-tyre test and second in the wet handling and curved aquaplaning assessment.
