I started visiting Action Auto since Dec 2014 with the purpose of changing my front speakers to a better quality. As my previous car was installed with Rainbow speakers I wanted to choose the same brand. Upon arriving at the shop, the shop assistant (Ah Liang) had served me and provide his recommendation of speakers brands available. He had recommend me another German made product which he say is of better value if compare to rainbow same range. As with all workshops that I visit, I always take their words with a pinch of salt. So I choose my preferred brand and proceed with the installation. His supervisor (Ah Yong) came later during installation and as I was curious to know more about car audio I approach him and prompt some questions.

Through the discussion, I personally find that this guy (Ah Yong) know his things very well. His explanation is detailed and convincing. Subsequently after the installation, I came back for my car sound proofing. My previous car had done sound proofing as well by another workshop, but the workmanship was really bad. (Peeling and air leaks). So this time round, I decided that I will pop by "Secretly" To inspected while they are doing my car. Ah Yong shown me his range of sound proofing products and explained the difference between them. I selected and inform him that i will leave my car and collect only after it is done. I leave the place and came back about 1 hour later to inspect my car. To my surprise, their workmanship was really good. Both of them had put in effort in ensuring that the soundproof mat covered every area that is deem possible. Ah Yong had further explained that a proper sound proofing will make a difference in the sound quality of my speakers.

Subsequently, I went back again with the intention of changing my rear speakers, Ah Yong was reluctant to sell me the rear speakers, he had explained that if I'm really into real sound quality I will only need my front mid woofer, tweeter and a subwoofer. It would be better if i get a subwoofer instead. Well, I was curious to try it out still as I wanted to have a surround sound feel in my car! Hahaha. So i took the basic rainbow model and installed it.

To cut my story short,
after months of experiencing and listening with my own ears. I have change my front speakers to another German made brand as the rainbow speakers couldn't satisfy my hearing. And true enough, right now my rear speakers served no purpose, I only turn on my front speakers with my subwoofer.

So for those that is reading reviews, I highly recommended that if you have any Car Audio requirements, Action Auto is the workshop that you should go to.

I just been there today to seek professional audio advice. I was serve by Ah Yong. He was very knowledgable. I had a Alpine Old HU in my Civic FD4, as i intend to change my 30 pin ipod connector to lightning connection. As my HU was too old, so Ah Yong recommended to install a USB cable to my HU and at the same time i also request to change the light bulb for the hazard light button. Fully Recommended to this shop.

I visited Action Auto last year after i got my car. Called up the boss Mr. Chee Yong, i was surprised that he sound friendly as compare to other workshop which i called. So i decided to visit this workshop even though i stay in east side. I am a person who very particular about customer service but Action Auto was able to satisfy me. So i would like to share my experience with you all here.

First time when i went to this workshop, Chee Yong share a lot of his experiences with me. I bought a Pioneer DVD head unit and active subwoofer. His workmanship was awesome and price definitely was reasonable.

After my first experience with Action Auto, i went there again to apply solar film for my car. I was also decided to take up his package for EMMA competition last year. From this package installation, Chee Yong has showed me his professionalism in ICE. I was very impressed with his workmanship as well as his tuning skill.

I strongly recommend everyone to go this workshop to check it out. You won't regret with his reasonable price, awesome customer service and knowledgeable plus experienced installer. Most importantly, he is not a pushy sales person.

I still visit this workshop for my car audio upgrading till date. Even just to change aircon filter, i prefer to go Action Auto! I will recommend this workshop to all my friends.

I would like to pay my compliments to Action Auto, in particular to Mr Yong who possesses good technical knowledge, especially in ICE.

Mr Yong, being a EMMA judge himself gave sound advice when I first approached him last year as I wanted to seek a second opinion on my current ICE setup, which I found inferior compared to the amount of dollars i have spent.

After a patience explanation in details, I convinced myself to change to hertz speakers (HSK series) and I am impressed with the neat installation as compared to the previous. With some tuning frm Mr Yong, music seems to be a delighted joy to listen, every time I drive.

Today, I have upgraded to another level in ICE and he continue to demonstrate the same level of service, which is worth mentioning. Music has never sound better these days in the car!

Thank you Mr Yong! Thumbs up to job well done and I definitely recommend more drivers who r keen in ICE to Action Auto.

My 1st experience with Action Auto was when I was browsing for used component speakers and I had only a small budget to spend on due to another 2 1/2 yrs for my car to scrap.

I chance upon a few used component speakers in marketplace and went straight to their shop which was near my place in the west. Ah yong, the boss was patient and asked my requirements and budget. (See my next review for German Maestro CS 6508 IV)

The first thing that struck me of this audio shop compared with others was their professional dismantle of the door panel. They were careful yet efficient and the job was done accurately with speed.

Indeed the recommended new component speakers was efficient, musically sounding and enhanced my audio experience just by the mere 25 watts RMS from my JVC DVD head unit.

Highly recommended for their knowledge, professional installation and competitive pricing. Do call to fix an appointment if you expect installation on that day as he may get busy during peak hrs.

p.s He is also 1 of the judge for past EMMA competitions and there's numerous trophies on the display cabinet.

Was not an ICE expert when i first call them to enquire them about P80 HU. The boss - Mr. Yong is such a friendly guy that he start asking me currently what is my set up and he further advise me that this product is not idea for me. Lol he inject me with another poison - Audison bit ten processor and boy oh boy, this small lean machine really make wonders to my existing set up even my stock HU. I was impress with his technical knowledge for the products and he even show me how my wiring was quite badly done up by another installer that he overlook the basic safety requirement.

From then on, I knew he is the guy who i will turn to any ICE advise cum installer my basic ICE setup. Have never since look back, Proceed to change and installed my 4 channel amp, 2 channel mono amp, front speakers, 12 inch woofer, sound proofing, HU and rerun the whole wiring at a reasonable plus competitive pricing. Now i am eagerly waiting for the final end product to be born.

During this process, we became friends and i intro my bro to him too to take care of his ICE set up too.

Despite the small shop space but I got friendly, excellent and pro-customer service from Action Auto Pte Ltd, thumbs up and highly recommended.

Initially was there to check if can help me solve my 3-way pods which came loose due to wear and tear. The knowledgeable and ultra friendly Ah Yong invited me to take a seat to share with me all the possible solutions and gave me time to consider, no hard sell. I decided to let Action Auto to resolve my pillar and pods, which was professionally and nicely done by Ah Yong and his worker Alan.

In the end, I gave him the chance to tune my sound system. I made the right choice, my system never sound so good before...at such an affordable price, the SQ level of my car's sound system upped so many levels (without any upgrades)!!!! Pure magic!

After the tuning, he even shared with me his tuning knowledge, pros and cons of my system, and gave recommendation for improvement and once again, no hard sell.

Had returned to Action Auto several times to sort out small issue, will definitely return for upgrades when Vit M allows......

Went initially wanting to check on possible battery problem.Ended up upgrading my head unit as well as changing my car battery and dekitting some of my unwanted items. The guys there are definitely knowledgable and take time and effort in doing up my car nicely especially with the wiring. No hard selling and price for the head unit are very reasonable as well. Thumbs up for action auto!

Once again, a second trip to Action Auto to meet boss Ah Yong, knowledgeable personnel with quality to be able to advise on your needs.

I frequent to the shop with no idea what i want, but with the very minimal framework at the back of the mind and with the input of his advise, i finally able to get what i want, quality ICE entertainment in my Civic.

Not only that, he provide the first class quality entertainment sound system and notwithstanding that he has the first class customer service as well.

Lets all thumb up for his excellent and committed effort to bring sound / audio to the next level.

Met Boss Ah Yong at his humble workshop when I was working around the area last time.

Did my car interior lighting and some I.C.E at his workshop, was very impressed with his skilled workmanship and friendly attitude. He advise what is needed to get the job done before proceeding to fix/install, this allows consumer to understand what the installer is doing to your car and not left hanging on the line.

I went to Action Auto to change my OEM systems to better ones. The boss is very friendly n knowledgeable. He gave me several packages according to my budget and did not even hard sell. Did a wonderful job and I'm very pleased with it.

Went to Action Auto for component speakers installation. Ah yong was a friendly and explain to me the process as in how is he going to do it. I feel very comfortable as he explain to me very detailed and patiently.

Out of curiosity, I follow him closely when he is performing the installation.

Workmanship is good as the speakers are well connected. Wires are well covered up and I would say the Hertz HSK 165 is excellent.

Outlet is clean, well-tidy and pleasant to hang around.

I went there to replace the head unit. I was greeted by Ah Yong. It turned out to be a very good deal. He was very patient to brief me on the features of the new head unit. By my request, he spent about 20 minutes to check and change the wiring of my backup camera. I expected to pay some form of service charge, but delightfully I was noted that there was no extra charge. He also waived my parking fee. It was indeed a good service!

I am here to say thank you to Ah yong provide me a very precious in Car Audio system course this after-noon, i went there to upgrade my audio system, Ah Yong very helpful and patient person and well explain to me all the things i needed, he is professional and experience, he know what my car need to upgrade to make the whole system sounds even better, not only that, his workmanship is even brilliant, some of the shops i went before they are simply "talk" but the finishing is like "so so", and now thank you for you recommend speakers "German Maestro" is really fantastic speaker.
