With a grand new name headlining the extra power and range from its mid-life refresh, the Q8 e-tron SUV reinforces its status as Audi's electric flagship.
Facelift (What's New)
Renamed to ‘Q8 e-tron SUV' (from just 'e-tron SUV' previously)
New badging with model name on B-pillars, tailgate
Redesigned front grille with additional LED light bar and Audi's new 2D logo
Battery capacity increased from 71kWh to 95kWh
Dual electric motors in this '50' variant now produce more power
Review It's not as big or imposing as the Q8 or Q7, but if it is quiet comfort that you're after, this Q8 e-tron is a wise choice. And its quite pleasant to drive as well.
What I like It's fast, and not aggressively imposing or large that it becomes difficult to navigate through narrow carparks.
Ride quality is decent. It's soft - and nicely damped - just enough to keep body movement under a tight rein.
Cabin screens and displays aren't as flash as what rivals are offering, but overall build quality is very hard to fault.
Review The Audi Q8 e-tron is not anywhere near as large as what you'd imagine it to be. And that's a good thing. A low ride height means it looks almost like an oversized hatchback - in a nice and sleek way. It's also easier to place on the road and steer up a tight multi-storey.
What I like The Q8 e-tron has the guts to pull away quick - but only if you're firm with the throttle. Otherwise, its an easy going and easy to drive thing. Steering weight and feels natural, although it does pick up the pace in dramatic fashion when you apply a bit more lock.
The ride here is commendable - a touch firm, but very far from being brittle.
There's not as much space as what you're think a Q8 can offer. But the upshot is that its always quiet in here. And the sea of screens offer good responsiveness.
What I do not like Needs a bit more visual pizzazz.
