5 years old and reaching 80,000 km. Only need to change 1 set of tyres and 1 set of windshield wipers. Air-con still very cold. Still using original brake pads since new. Each time I went back for servicing, I asked them to check if I need to replace my brake discs and pads. The answer is always " Can still use".
What I like
Reliability. Still getting about 11.0 km/l.
What I do not like
The all red speedo lights and dials.
Excellent Value for Money at this time :) | Posted on 25 Feb 2012 |

This may look as a small car from outside, Interior is pretty much same as any other car is the same Category. Sporty look and hatch back does not really compromise on boot space...After all how often do you use complete boot space.
Driving is a pleasure for sure compared to other in the same segment. With decent fuel efficientcy...clocking at 11-12 km/L
What I like
- Tall Seating
- Heavy kerb makes it more stable to drive
- Outer styling
- Great handling with the shape and height the care has
What I do not like
- Lack of thrust at 0-60

Well bought this car 2010 after the facelifts are done. Took a test drive on it and bought a bright red exterior color. Drove it the Muar Malaysia. Nice, comfortable. The pick up is just nice.
What I like
Very nice car, sporty looking, great pick up, comfortable.
What I do not like
Quite expensive

Looks like an SUV but drives and handles like a car. Excellent road holding. Very good when cruising.
What I like
* Stability.
* Spacious interior
* Firm and comfortable seats.
* Easy to clean and wash sports rims
* Quiet when cruising.
* Excellent brakes.
* Excellent free rolling with gears engaged.
What I do not like
* Noisy with whining sound when accelerating at low speed.
* Only one colour red dials. Too red for my liking.
* Auto door open and lock without sound. You do not know whether it is open or lock in bright light.
* Average petrol consumption of 9 km/l for auto car.

This is the first car that i got. So far handling is not bad except the fact that the sway when turning is rather strong. Passenger will get car sickness easily. I believe this is due to the the fact that the car is rather high.
Car is abit underpowered unlike vios which got vvti engine and response time is abit sluggish. Car is reliable as i have been travelling to kl, genting, etc.
The A frame at the sides tend to block the sight of the driver left and right corner view. Thus one must be careful when making turns or turning in to main road.
So far this car is decent enough but i believe for the same price, u can get a better car. The interior, esp the rear passenger, is smaller than some car of the same type. But the good thing is the seats can be folded up. The rear passenger posture is not as comfortable as i thought as it is relatively higher den the front passenger(this is the feature of the car but idun really like it) the degree which the rear passenger seat is abit too inclined(or rather too upright). Thus not very comfortable.
Boot is rather small and is abt the same size as a fit.
Engine is relatively quiet and sound gd compared to some other make. However do take note that this is a 4 spd gear box. Which is not as good as a 5 speed gear box. Car tend to drag the gear for auto.
It is abit not that easy to find adds on or mods for this car as not alot of shop carries the mod.
What I like
- Reliability
- Handling
- Engine sound
- Car is relatively high
What I do not like
- 4 spd gear box
- Little features
- Rear passenger seat and the space for rear passenger
- Slight sluggish pick up n tend to drag gear before changing for auto car.
- "A" frame located at the front side of the car

This is a good car to buy, the comfort wise is good. Handling is good when i travel in north south highway towards KL & Genting travelling abt 160kmh with 4pax include me and it was stable and not wobbling as my Stock rim is 17" Abt FC i've got abt 10.6Km/L ... for most it may sounds average, but most of SX4 members of mine it sounds good as many of the can go as high as 7.8Km/L - 9.2Km/L
What I like
My limited Body Kit and only TWO car in S'pore that have the same (WRC Limited Edition Bodykit). Thanks to Champion Motor.
What I do not like
Noting at all. Wish Sx4 Have a 2.0L in S'pore

Smooth drive, excellent and direct steering wheel. Excellent gearbox. Much more space than in the Swift for both passenger and luggage. I wonder how Singapore preferes the more expensive Swift than this SX4.
What I like
Exterior and interior design
Direct and precise steering wheel
Smooth gearbox
Seats comfort
Value for money
What I do not like
A bit noisy at high rev

This is a good car to buy but only the car is a bit under power. The comfort wise is likely a bit noisy. Handling is good.

Reliable car for small families. Average features. No frills. Too bad authorised dealer did not bring in AWD for the sports fan.
What I like
- tall seats
- 16" wheels
- fold down rear seats
- off-road capability
What I do not like
- stiffer suspensions (can't complain either, this is not a luxury car)
- missing AWD options
