Value for money father day promotion `
My friend tipped me off that MG is offered an irresistible price for the ZS cross but only limited units left. I managed to grab one this morning. At this Father Day promotion price that ends today, this car is value for money. However please note that because MG is an European brand although make in China, the insurance premium is about 60% more than the pure bred China EVs. The higher premium also apply to European makes in China Polestar and Volvo EVs.

1month, 2000KM review `
After 1 month and 2,000KM in, I must say, this car is worth every penny. For its price, you will be hard pressed to find another car that comes with all the great features. I've been able to achieve an efficiency of 15.5kWh/100km across this 2000km. My best per trip efficiency has been 12.8kWh/100km when I drive sedately at night with lowest aircon settings. Did a road trip up north. Car handles well on the windy Federal Roads in Malaysia. On the NS Highway, its speedy enough to overtake cars but 130kmh really is your limit. Above that, your electric motor's RPM will redline. Of course, the range drops considerably when you are at that kind of speed. All in all, a great car for city driving. For long road trips, it fares okay but its not the greatest drive.

Winning combination of features, comfort, performance and price `
I've had this MG ZS EV for a month now. Love everything about it even though I sort of "Downgraded" From a Mercedes E200. I like that it feels premium given the price point and CatA status. The whole car feels well put together. I really like the pano sunroof, regen brakes, rear aircon vents, power tailgate, adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, Apple CarPlay and multiple usb ports. The drive is smooth, quiet and very torquey! A few minor things on the wishlist that would make this car perfect include the lack of a frunk. The Trophy version in Singapore also doesn't have the smart features that the Connect version has, which is available in other countries like the UK and NZ. Anyway, these are very minor grouses. Overall, I'm really pleased with the MG!

Another great entry into the electric world `
This facelifted MG ZS now looks more like the rest of its EV companions, with a blanked off grille sleeker lighting front and back. And it has the drive to suit as well.
