Consumer Car Reviews
Was looking for a 1-1.2l family car recently and was deliberating between the Nissan Note, Kicks, Skoda Kamiq and VW T-Cross. It was a close fight but in the end, selected the VW T-Cross as it was the car that checked the most boxes
Been driving over a year+ now. Got it during pre-launch so had free upgrade to elite.
Had an Avante previously so continuing faith on Hyundai with Kona. Not disappointed.
Ventilated and heated seats are awesome. Driving modes quite responsive. Adaptive cruising is awesome especially on slow moving expressway. Sufficient and Efficient for Sg roads.
Pro
Smooth handling for corners
Sufficient torque for pickup and overtaking
Good fuel efficient
Con
Poor boot space
Not entirely very spacious (back seats best for 2 rather than 3)
Like:
Very zippy off the line at traffic light.
FC is very good. Average of 21.6km per liter so far based on my driving style. Minimalist console.
Very responsive maneuverability.
Convenient of a petrol vehicle and can just pump 92 as the petrol is only use to charge the battery.
Road tax is cheap.
For some reason, my apple car play can connect wirelessly with the phone, there is no need for me to plug in to the USB port.
Digital rear view mirror.
Dislike:
Can get a bit noisy when the engine is charging the battery. Noise will be minimal when the car is moving on highway. I have no complaint:)
