For the first time, the British built Auris Touring Sports will feature an estate body style, on top of offering a full hybrid powertrain in its class. Auris Touring Sports is 285mm longer despite having the same 2,600mm wheelbase and 10.4m turning radius as the hatchback.

The Auris hatchback is one of the models that is expected to be launched here later this year and hopefully, the Auris Tourer will be launched here as well.
Like its hatchback counterpart, the new Auris wagon has similar strong and distinctive exterior that maximises aerodynamic benefits. The front fascia displays key elements from Toyota's new design language. The wagon also shares the hatchback's steeply raked windscreen, while some versions will sport a Skyview panoramic roof - measuring 1,553mm by 960mm - which is one of the largest in its class.
The Auris Touring Sports will be available with a number of powertrains including the 1.3-litre Dual VVT-i, 1.6-litre Valvematic petrol, and the 1.4-litre D-4D diesel. The highlight will be the full hybrid powertrain featuring a 1.8-litre petrol engine and an electric motor that provides a combined power output of 134bhp - for a leisurely century sprint timing of 10.9 seconds and a top speed of 180km/h.
The hybrid powertrain provides a class leading 86g/km of emissions while the 1.3-litre, 1.6-litre petrol units and 1.4-litre diesel rates at 127g/km, 139g/km and 109g/km respectively.

The Auris estate offers dynamic design, functionality and a large 1,658 litres of loading area with the one touch Easy-Flat folding rear seats. The generous boot space is possible thanks to the hybrid batteries that are strategically located beneath the seats.
