The ORA 07 has officially been launched in Singapore

Drivers drawn to the retro-futuristic charm of the Ora Good Cat - but on the hunt for something a bit sleeker and more powerful - may just find themselves gravitating to Great Wall Motor's latest entrant in Singapore.
After being previewed at the Suntec Convention Centre exactly a year ago, the all-electric Ora 07 has officially been launched for sale locally at the 2025 Singapore Motor Show. Only one variant has been made available thus far: With a single-motor, front-wheel drive setup that will see the car land in Category B.
While there's no denying the Good Cat's identity as a hatchback, the more unusual shape of the 07 arguably gives it a more fluid identity.
Some may refer to this as an electric sedan, but because of its fastback-style body, calling it a four-door coupe wouldn't be wrong either. In fact, the 07 bears more than a striking resemblance to earlier iterations of the Porsche Panamera, albeit with the sort of retro-inspired cues that are quickly being an Ora hallmark. (Just look at the chrome surrounds of its 'Nebula Eye' head lights and taillights.)
A 2,870mm wheelbase should give rear passengers plenty of legroom, while the car's panoramic glass roof (a single piece that blends into the rear windscreen) promises to boost headroom too
As the larger sibling to the Good Cat, the 07 has the proportions (and corresponding space) to match too. Stretching out at nearly 4.9 metres long and 1.86 metres wide puts it firmly in the territory of mid-sized sedans, with its 2,870mm wheelbase promising generous legroom for rear passengers. As we've seen on cars like the Tesla Model 3, the Ora 07 also comes with a 1.7m2 permanent panoramic glass roof that stretches into the rear windscreen.
Still, this electric sedan is loaded with its own aerodynamics-targeted tricks not seen thus far among rivals in its segment - both up front and at the rear.
Aerodynamics-oriented features on the 07 include this active air intake grille up front, and an electronically retractable spoiler at the rear
For starters, it features an active air intake grille that remains open at lower speeds to cool the battery, but shuts itself when the car is travelling at higher speeds to optimise aerodynamic efficiency. In tandem, the car sports an electronically retractable rear spoiler that can be controlled via the infotainment touchscreen.
As with the Good Cat, buyers can look forward to a modern and remarkably well-built cabin on the 07, sprinkled with a light touch of retro-inspired cues.
Though undeniably modern, the 07 takes an alternative approach in its interior with its Canon-Shaped Triple Display and unusual floating centre console
Taking a different tack from the long screens and single panels of other new EVs, the 07 gets something extra unique instead: A 'canon-shaped' Triple Display as its instrument cluster. This is paired to a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, as well as a head-up display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip powering the entire digital ecosystem.
Another eccentric highlight of the car's cabin up front is its steeply-rising floating centre console, with rocker switches and swivel dials for controlling the air-conditioning and various drive modes.
Occupants will also find a wealth of equipment to enjoy as standard within the 07, including a 256-colour ambient lighting system, and ventilated and massage sports seats up front. Meanwhile, an 11-speaker Infinity Premium Audio System should bring the best out of all your road trip tunes, even as acoustic glass used on the front doors and windscreen promises to keep wind and tyre roar at bay.
Standard equipment includes ventilated seats with massage functions up front, and an 11-speaker Infinity premium sound system
As mentioned, the sole variant of the 07 at launch gets a single motor that sends 150kW and 340Nm of torque to the front wheels. Powered by an 83.5kWh battery, the car also boasts a commendable WLTP-rated range of 570km on a full charge.
And despite its size, the 07 promises a breezy drive on the road thanks to its full suite of safety assistance systems, including the likes of Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection and Traffic Jam Assist. Beyond just a Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, the car even comes equipped with something more sophisticated: A Lane Change Assistant.
The Ora 07 is now on sale, with prices starting from $208,999 (inclusive of COE) at launch.
