Skoda continues to support the Tour de France

Skoda is marking 21 years as the official main partner of the Tour de France. This 2024 iteration of the cycling event will start in in Florence, Italy, but won’t be finishing in Paris, France, as the Olympic Games are starting in the capital just a few days later.
Most stages of the event will see the all-electric Skoda Enyaq serving Tour Director Christian Prudhomme as the 'Red Car', leading the peloton throughout the race. The route will take the 176 riders and 205 Skoda support cars across 21 stages and nearly 3,500km to reach Nice on 21 July.
For the 14th time, the Skoda Design Team is additionally responsible for crafting the crystal glass trophies for the overall winner and the leaders of the 'points', 'mountain', and 'young rider' classifications in the Tour de France.
And there's plenty in store for the fans as well, on the WeLoveCycling website here, fans can take part in contests to win exciting prizes including premium bicycles, original signed green jerseys and cycling gear, alongside the grand prize of a Skoda-organised three-day trip to this year’s Tour de France, which includes the opportunity to accompany the peloton in a Skoda car, to fly in a helicopter over the route and ride with cycling legend and Tour de France winner Andy Schleck.
