Need your Spectre to be a little more special still? Rolls-Royce will now happily build you this new, Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre.
Top highlight for the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre is the fact that it will push out a total of 485kW (650bhp), making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce in history. And accompanying this power output is a whopping 1,075Nm of peak torque, allowing the car to reach 96km/h from a standstill in just 4.1 seconds.
The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre can offer a total power output of 485kW, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce yet
For those who must make comparisons, the 'regular' Spectre offers a total of 577bhp and 900Nm of torque and posts a century sprint time of 4.5 seconds. But a Black Badge car is more than sheer numbers, isn't it?
Rolls-Royce states that this new electric Black Badge has been designed to appeal to its most potent and audacious clientele, and accordingly, the car stands out from the regular Spectre with the addition of an 'Infinity Mode'.
Inspired by the Supermarine Spitfire itself, which came with a switch that opened an additional burst of power, this new Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre comes with an Infinity button on its steering wheel. This button will open the car's full 485kW output, while offering a more direct response to the accelerator pedal. The dials on the instrument cluster will also become more vibrant when this mode is activated.
And should you need to make a quick getaway, the Black Badge Spectre also now comes with a new Spirited Mode. Activated when at a standstill, this mode opens a burst of intense, instantaneous acceleration to allow the car to post that stated sprint time.
Supporting all this increased capability are several changes to the chassis of the Black Badge Spectre itself, including enhanced dampers that better resist body roll, while steering weight is also said to have been raised.
And to further appeal to those who need to make a statement, the electric car is also making its global debut decked with a painted Iced Black Bonnet and with the rest of its body finished in a stunning Vapour Violet exterior paint. This finish comprises of a deep black-violet, inspired by the neon ambience of 80s and 90s club culture.
Customers can, of course, opt to have their car in any colour from the firm's 44,000, or to have their car in a bespoke hue if they so wish. And there's also the option add on a waft coachline on the lower half of the car's body. There's also a new 23-inch aluminium wheel design to look forward to, which is available in a part-polished or all-black finish. And as with all other Black Badge models, all the brightwork on the car comes in a dark finish, adding to the vehicle's subversive, noire character.
The interior of the car comes with added Infinity symbols, described as a statement of the vehicle's power
Don't let this distract you from the fact that you can now have your illuminated Parthenon Grille complete with a backplate in colours including Tailored Purple, Charles Blue, Chartreuse, Forge Yellow and Turchese.
And for the cabin, the Black Badge Spectre gets a front fascia which comprises of over 5,500 'stars' set against a Piano Black 'sky', and the addition of the Infinity symbol. All this comes framed by a Technical Fibre surface finish, said to comprise of carbon and fine metal thread set atop a black Bolivar wood base.
You'll also be keeping track of your speed via instrument dials can be curated with a choice of five colour themes, which are paired with illuminated Black Badge Treadplates that are available in ten complementary colours.
