Porsche Museum offers new escape game
28 Jul 2024|158 views
The Porsche Museum is now offering a new escape game which will take participants on a deep dive into both the history of the sports car manufacturer and the museum building itself.
The escape game is aimed at small groups of two to five, and each group is given 90 minutes to complete a programme with the aid of a tablet computer. Teams collect a rucksack at the front desk in the foyer and must then find physical tools needed to solve a host of puzzles aided by a chatbot function that guides the participants through the game on the tablet as well as augmented reality applications and digital resources.
The escape game then ends in a finale that will see teams open an ‘Escape Cube’ with a secret code. The aim is to set the four combination wheels correctly, one for each theme: Passion, pioneering spirit, performance and design. By the time they’re finished, the players will have solved tasks and puzzles in categories such as ‘overtaking’, ‘strong intuition’, ‘upside down’ and ‘angular aesthetics’ and – if they’re good enough – will have proven themselves to be Porsche Heritage Guardians.
Bookings for the escape game are now open and include a day entry to the Porsche Museum. The game is available in German and English. Those visiting the Porsche Museum in Germany and are interested in joining the escape game can get their tickets here.
