Opel Astra GTC gets a tune-up by Irmscher

The tuned-up Astra GTC from Irmscher gets a stage 1 kit for the engine, which boosts performance of the 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol unit from 180bhp and 230Nm of torque, to 212bhp and 274Nm of torque.

Other performance enhancements include a stainless steel exhaust exit system with new quad exhaust tips, while handling has been improved as well through a sports suspension that lowers the ride height by 30mm.

Irmscher has also given the Astra GTC a new cosmetic styling package, which includes front apron, new upper and lower grilles, side sills, a larger roof spoiler, and a rear diffuser. There are also several alloy wheel designs to choose from, while the interior also gets leather upholstery and aluminium trim and sports pedals.
