Looking for a public transport concession pass, or need assistance with refunds or top-ups for your commuter card? You'll soon be getting all your public transit and travel card-related services from a new 'SimplyGo' brand.
The new SimplyGo brand consolidates the services that used to be offered by both EZ-Link and TransitLink, a move first announced by the LTA in March 2023. The new brand will be utilised at physical counters at public transport nodes, mobile applications, and even for a new website.
Look out for the this SimplyGo logo the next time you need assistance with your transit card at the bus interchange or MRT station Commuters will want to note that the TL SimplyGo app will now be known as the SimplyGo app (download it here or here for Android and iPhone users respectively). It will serve as a one-stop app for all transit-related transactions by end-2023.
It will retain all the key features from the EZ-Link app, but will also now offer features including instant card blocking and refunding of remaining balance, the ability to allow users to check remaining card balance by tapping their EZ-Link/Concession/NETS FlashPay card on the back of their phone, and also now comes with a more user-friendly interface.
Features from the EZ-Link app will be migrated over to the SimplyGO app in the coming months. Commuter can, however, continue to use the EZ-Link app for automatic top-ups, earning of reward points, Pay by Wallet, and topping up the EZ-Link Motoring card, and will be notified to switch to the SimplyGo app when the migration is completed.
The new SimplyGo website here, will also now serve as the single point of reference for all ticketing and travel card-related information.
TransitLink's customer service centres, located at MRT stations and bus interchanges, will also be rebranded to SimplyGo Ticket Offices. These will continue to offer all the functions as before, and commuters may continue to approach them for assistance with top-ups, refunds, non-transit transactions, sales of SimplyGo EZ-Link/NETS Prepaid cards, and Concession card services.
