*All-new stylish exterior and interior
*Class-leading fuel economy and environmental performance
*A front passenger's seat with a convenient in-seat storage feature
Moco Overview
1. All-new stylish exterior and interior
From the outside, the one-box design shows off plenty of curves and a dynamic-looking waistline that gives the car a contemporary image, which is accentuated by its smart-looking grille. On the turbo model, the sporty-looking front end is complemented by a purposeful-looking front bumper and front fog lamps.
The Moco comes in eight attractive body colors, including Moco Rouge.
The seats and door trim are covered in fine-quality double Russell cloth and adorned with the Moco logo.
The gearshift is mounted on the instrument panel, which allows for easy gear changing and additional space for passengers to move between the comfortable, semi bench-style front seats. The 50:50 split rear seats slide backwards and forwards with ease, and also recline and fold down.
The interior trim is available in either apricot or turquoise.
2. Class-leading fuel economy and environmental performance
The two-wheel-drive model fitted with the non-turbo 658 cc K6A engine provides outstanding economy with class-leading fuel consumption figures of 21 km/liter for tall mini-wagons with an overall height of 1,550 mm or more.
Both the 2WD and 4WD models, equipped with the non-turbo K6A engine, are certified as super-ultra-low emission vehicles (SU-LEVs) as they emit 75% fewer greenhouse gases than Japan's 2005 exhaust emission standards. These models, as well as the 2WD model powered by the K6A intercooled turbo engine, qualify for tax reductions under the Green Tax program in Japan.
3. A front passenger's seat with a convenient in-seat storage feature
Shopping bags and other items can be placed in a storage space in the front passenger's seat that is accessed by lifting up the seat cushion. Items can also be stored on an underseat tray that slides out from the front.
The driver's seat also features handy storage spots for stowing smaller items, such as a purse or cellular phone.
All seats can easily be rearranged to accommodate a variety of passenger and cargo needs.
The Moco is the first minicar to feature an air vent on top of the instrument panel as a standard feature. In addition to providing a gentle, indirect airflow, the vent also ensures a uniform distribution of warm or cool air to both the front and rear seats. The outlet also incorporates a directional vent for more precise airflow and climate control.
The Moco is also the first Nissan minicar to feature odor-absorbing seat material and a noise-and-odor-absorbing headliner as standard appointments.
The car is also equipped with an anti-theft alarm.
The Moco, which is supplied by Suzuki Motor Corp. under an original equipment manufacturing agreement, will be sold at Nissan dealers throughout Japan.
