New Nissan Qashqai premieres at Singapore Motor Show 2025

The Qashqai has been one of Nissan’s most well-known models in Singapore, and the current model is probably the best iteration yet. It's been almost three years since it arrived here, though, so this update is a timely one.
The latest Qashqai, available in Premium and Prestige variants, is more eye-catching than before, boasting a redesigned front grille that’s supposedly patterned after ancient Japanese armour scales. It's also available in a new paintwork colour called 'Deep Ocean'. Prices start from $212,800 with COE.
There are new head lights that are equipped with an adaptive high beam module, along with new taillights and a new rear bumper. The higher-specification Prestige variant even features Dynamic LED Turning Indicators.
The wheels have been redesigned as well, and just like before, the Premium model is equipped with 18-inch wheels, while the Prestige version has 19-inch wheels as standard.
The interior has been improved as well, with newly designed, 3D quilted Nappa leather upholstery standard across both versions. The infotainment system has also been upgraded, with the screen size growing from 9.0-inches to 12.3-inches. For a touch of sleekness, the rearview mirror is now borderless.
The D-shaped steering wheel is still present, while the infotainment is now displayed on a larger touchscreen
For those eyeing the Qashqai Prestige, this version also comes with a 10.8-inch heads-up display, and customisable ambient lighting. The former helps the driver remain focussed on the road, while the latter helps the cabin’s ambience suit his or her mood.
Unchanged, though, is the Qashqai's powertrain. Still doing duty are a turbocharged 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine paired to a 12-volt mild hybrid system. It still produces 156bhp and 270Nm of torque, which are sent to the front wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Nissan says the new Qashqai averages 16.1km/L.
