Latest Bugatti Veyron special edition to be unveiled at Pebble Beach

The car, which will be officially revealed at the prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in the US, is the latest in line with the series of special editions Bugatti has launched for their Veyron, to celebrate Bugatti's 100th anniversary. ious special editions included the Sang Noir, the Bleu Centenaire and the Fbg par Hermès.

Based on the Grand Sport, which is the drop top version of the Veyron, the Sang Bleu has innovatively used the two-tone theme not by utilising paint but by applying two different bodywork materials.

Carbon fibre and aluminium is the contrasting combination which the company says has embodied its core values of art, form and technique. The colours chosen were blue - hence the name - for the carbon fibre, while the aluminium is polished in its natural state. The large wheels are highlighted in midnight blue and a diamond cut two-tone finish. Newly-developed Gaucho leather was selected for use in the interior to help create an elegant and harmonious appearance.

The Sang Bleu uses the same 1001bhp quad-turbo W16 engine as standard Veyrons, which produces 1250Nm of torque. 250 units of the Veyron has been built so far, of the planned production of 300, and 215 cars have been delivered. The Grand Sport range has already been sold to 20 buyers.
