Jaguar announces new XK Signature and Dynamic R special editions

Jaguar is adding two special edition models - Signature and Dynamic R specifications - for the 2015 Model Year XK lineup, exclusive to the U.K. market.

The luxury focused XK Signature model - with a 380bhp, 515Nm rated 5.0-litre V8 - is fitted with a host of additional features including 20-inch Kalimnos wheels and Reverse Park Camera.

The XK Signature can hit the century mark in 5.2 seconds (5.3 for the convertible). The top speed is electronically limited to 249km/h and both cars emit 264g/km of CO₂.

Standard on the XK Signature are Luxury seats available in Ivory or Charcoal soft grain leather. The interior also features Canvas Suedecloth headlining, Figured Ebony veneers and Bright Metal sport pedals.

A performance focused XK Dynamic R - based on the existing XKR - offers XKR-S suspension and dynamics, 20-inch Vortex diamond turned wheels with distinctive red callipers and a 10mm reduction in ride height, along with improved aerodynamics. A Performance Active Exhaust is also included in the XK Dynamic R specification.

The third generation supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine offers power and torque figures of 503bhp and 625Nm of torque respectively, taking the car to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds with a limited top speed of 280km/h. Extremely powerful but also efficient, the XK Dynamic R emits 292g/km of CO₂.

The XK Dynamic R boasts Jaguar's new diamond sewn Performance seat in either Ivory/Charcoal soft grain leather with Ivory contrast stitch or Charcoal/Red soft grain leather with Red contrast stitch leather. The 16-way adjustment is supplemented by memory and heating functions. The interior Jet Suedecloth headliner is complemented with Piano Black veneers. Bright Metal sport pedals are also fitted as standard.

First deliveries of the new XK Signature and Dynamic R editions to U.K. customers are expected in March.
