Ask any post Y2K kid who Iron Man is and high chances are they'll point to Robert Downey Jr. So synonymous is the actor to that character, just as how the Audi R8 is synonymous with Tony Stark's ride of choice in the movies.
In the first movie the then new R8 was featured in all its silver glory, while in Iron Man 2 he opted for the Spyder model. In the latest instalment, he can be seen driving a white R8 e-tron in the trailer - which (sadly) gets destroyed together with his house.
