Available for the 2013 and 2014 CR-Z models, the HPD supercharger kit boosts total powertrain output to 197bhp from 130bhp in the stock CR-Z linked to traditional stick shifters.
The kit also includes the HPD sourced air-to-air intercooler, air filter system, high-flow fuel injectors and a calibrated ECU which meet American regulations.
Honda's suggested retail price for the kit is $5,495 (S$6,865), not including dealer installation, which is priced similarly to popular aftermarket supercharger kits but is engineered and warrantied by Honda. The HPD supercharger kit is available exclusively for CR-Z manual transmission models and HPD has also developed an optional limited slip differential and HPD sport clutch for those customers looking for an even higher level of performance.
Furthermore, the HPD upgrades for the CR-Z is complete with a graphics package including front lip and tail spoilers, rear diffuser and HPD badge.
