Geely Auto announces 2024 annual sales and 53% market growth

Geely Auto has announced its breakthrough 2024 annual sales of 2.17 million units, marking a 32% year-on-year increase, as well as a record high of 403,923 units exported - a 53% surge compared to last year's performance.

In 2024, Geely Auto expanded its global footprint to over 80 countries and regions and over 10 new markets, with this strategic expansion amplified by the introduction of 16 models across over 40 countries and regions. Its global sales and service network was also expanded, reaching approximately 900 locations - a 69% increase from the end of 2023. It also amplified its regional operations by building two factories in Asia and Africa, as well as establishing four new subsidiaries in Indonesia, Australia, Philippines, and Chile.

In addition, Geely has also said that its Coolray SUV hit one million units with a presence in 51 countries, its Monjaro mid-sized SUV exports surged 150% year-over-year, its Emgrand ranked in the top three A-sedan in nine key markets, and the EX5 turned heads through appearances at events like Automechanika Frankfurt and the Thailand Auto Expo.

Geely has said that in 2025, it has set a global selling target of 2.71 million units, in addition to "evolving the full scale of operating system, business capability, product strategy, and refined aftersales."
