A sleek front fascia, a modern cockpit with large screens - and even standard ventilated seats. These used to be features one found only on the most modern and well-equipped passenger cars. China's Geely Group, however, is shaking up the commercial vehicle sector by bringing all of the above into its latest entrant here: The Farizon SuperVan.
The electric van was launched in Singapore on Tuesday afternoon (18 February 2025) alongside the grand opening of the first-ever Farizon Auto showroom in Singapore. Represented by Hong Seh Motors in Singapore, the brand's new space is located at 237 Alexandra Road, alongside other Hong Seh-stewarded brands including SERES, DFSK and SRM.

For those unfamiliar with Farizon Auto, the Chinese brand - as mentioned earlier - comes under the large umbrella of the gargantuan Geely Group, which is currently also responsible for the tech and engineering behind passenger car brands including Zeekr, Smart and Polestar.
Formed in 2016, Geely states that Farizon is "fully focused" on "clean, new energy commercial vehicles", and has already established itself as the leading name in the sector in its domestic market of China.
Sgcarmart understands that Farizon is intending to use Singapore as an "innovation hub" to launch its range of vehicles within the region.
Back when it signed its strategic framework agreement with Hong Seh Motors in October 2023, it had outlined a plan to introduce almost 1,000 electrified commercial vehicles (including pick-up trucks, minibuses and other heavy goods vehicles) into Singapore over a span of three years. Prior to the grand opening of its showroom on Wednesday, it had also made an appearance at the 2024 Singapore Motor Show with the H9E light electric truck.
The SuperVan's futuristic face comprises a thin black strip housing full-LED head lights and an illuminated Farizon logo
On that note, the launch of the SuperVan now seeks to widen the brand's appeal even further to small and medium-sized business-owners.
Based solely on looks, the electric van should already stand out with its raked windscreen, bulging lower front end, and of course, a cyborg-like face comprising an illuminated Farizon logo and full LED head lights. As if this futuristic mien wasn't enough, it comes with six factory-offered colours too, including Cyan, Gold and Blue.
Among the standout features of the SuperVan, too, is its lack of a B-pillar on the passenger side, which allows its side doors to open as wide as 2.1 metres. Its rear barn doors, on the other hand, can swing open to an angle of up to 270 degrees.
Farizon is also touting customisability as another of the SuperVan's strengths, with buyers able to choose between two or three front seats, and between goods-delivery or commuter variants. Apart from the driver, the latter is capable of accommodating up to 13 passengers.
But as an electric commercial vehicle, the SuperVan also scores well on the practicality front.
The electric van arrives in Singapore in three lengths, and with batteries of varying sizes in tandem with the gradual steps up in weight. Farizon states that it boasts best-in-class space across the board, with its carrying capacity ranging from 6,950 litres all the way up to 13,000 litres.
The largest of the trio is the six-metre variant that stands 2,500mm tall and 5,995mm long, with a wheelbase of 3,850mm. A 106kWh battery gives it an estimated maximum range of 359km on a full charge.
Offered in both standard and high-roof configurations, the mid-sized 5.5-metre variant is powered instead by an 83kWh battery that allows it to travel up to 345km when fully recharged.
The specific SuperVan that you're likely to catch soon in a multi-storey carpark (MSCP) near you, however, is the entry-level one.
At just 1,980mm tall, 4,990mm long, and with a curb weight of 2,000kg, Hong Seh and Farizon state that this variant qualifies for season parking at HDB MSCPs, and should be able to slip into 99% of them too, given its height.
Powered by a 66kWh battery, the smallest SuperVan can cover a distance of approximately 300km on a full charge
Furthermore, this smallest SuperVan is powered by a 66kWh battery, which gives it a WLTP-rated range of 294km, and can support DC charging at up to 160kW for a 20-80% recharge in as quick as 15 minutes. It should be plenty peppy on the road too, with a single electric motor sending 200kW and 343Nm of torque to its front wheels.
And as drivers lap up the kilometres behind the wheel of the SuperVan, it promises to be superbly comfortable to drive in too thanks to its modern cabin and breadth of equipment.
Screens galore: The SuperVan comes with a digital driver's display and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard, with the latter supporting Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Other standard features include a full ADAS suite, and heated/ventilated seats
A standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen comes as standard, with both Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity. It is through this screen that drivers will also be able to navigate the car's full suite of advanced driving assistance systems, which include the likes of Automatic Emergency Braking, Intelligent Speed Assist, and even Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Monitoring.
Best of all for Singapore's erratic weather, however? The SuperVan comes with standard heated and ventilated seats.
The Farizon SuperVan is now on sale in Singapore with prices starting at around $80,000 (excluding COE) for the smallest variant. All SuperVans are sold with a four-year (or up to 200,000km) vehicle warranty, as well as a five-year (or up to 250,000km) battery warranty.
