Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo launches a new brand of race karts here

KF1 Karting Circuit is proud to be the official venue sponsor for the launch of the Ricciardo Kart, with Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo gracing the event held yesterday at Turf Club Singapore. Running on the Honda GX390 engine, the Ricciardo Kart delivers 12bhp at 3,600rpm and can reach speeds of up to 70km/h.


Designed by world renowned Formula One circuit designer, Hermann Tilke, the KF1 Karting Circuit runs underneath Kranji MRT and into Singapore Turf Club. It is currently the largest karting circuit in Singapore and features a 960m long track with a minimum track width of 7m. On the straight, the KF1 Karting Circuit enables karts to achieve a top speed of above 100km/h.
The brand new Ricciardo N35-RS Kart will also be the official kart for the upcoming KF1 Karting Challenge to be held on 14th January 2017. Participants can look forward to a gruelling six-hour endurance race, with up to 30 teams made up of corporate race enthusiasts and professional racers. Cash prizes of up to $30,000 are up for grabs for race podium winners.
Born on the 1st of July, 1989, the Australian racing driver is currently prepping for the Formula One Singapore Grand Prix, which will be held over this weekend, the 16th to 18th of September.

The Ricciardo Kart is the latest kart to hit the market in 2015. Newly-formed Birel ART has partnered with the Red Bull Racing Formula One driver to launch this new brand. Not only does the Ricciardo Kart bear a winning name, it also has Ricciardo's personal and professional touch in the design and production of the new brand.
