Like the name suggests, the Fiat 500L Beats Edition offers a sound system that will revolutionise the way music can be experienced inside the car. Legendary artist and record producer Dr. Dre and Interscope Geffen A&M Records chairman and record producer, Jimmy Iovine, worked alongside Fiat's sound engineers to develop and calibrate the sound system.

On the outside, the Fiat 500L Beats Edition is adonred with a two-tone grey and black livery - finished in either matt or glossy - and is enhanced by red and satin chrome elements for a modern look.
The same style is found inside, in particular in the distinctive 'total black' environment and the new fabric and eco-leather black trim with red stitching.
With the launch of the 500L Beats Edition, the 500L model range is getting an update, starting with a new Venezia Blue metallic body colour, new fabric and leather interiors, as well as new option packages that provide more benefits for buyers.
Depending on the market where it is sold, the new 2014 Fiat 500L range now comprises of three trim levels (Pop, Pop Star and Lounge), the 500L Beats Edition special series and the Business version.
The 500L range expands with two new engines - the 1.6-litre MultiJet II turbodiesel and the 1.4-litre T-Jet petrol engine. Both turbocharged and rated at 120bhp, the two power units share the same winning characteristics - performance when it counts, fun driving and limited consumption and emissions.
The 1.6-litre MultiJet II is equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger, developed by Honeywell, and provides 320Nm of torque. The lump delivers a top speed of 189km/h after a leisurely cruise to 100km/h in 10.7 seconds. Efficiency figures are rated at of 4.6L/100km and 120g/km of CO2 emissions.
With Euro 6 type approval, the 1.4-litre T-Jet delivers a maximum torque of 215Nm from as low as 2,500rpm and enables the 500L to hit a top speed of 189km/h, after hitting century mark in 10.2 seconds. The 1.4-litre sips 6.9L/100km travelled and emits 159g/km of CO2.

The result is a system that offers a listening experience marked by premium sound that Fiat believes can only be achieved by talents like Dr. Dre and Iovine.
