The base Viper SRT10 Coupe and Roadster gets two new colours for 2010, Toxic Orange Pearl Coat and Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat, as well as a shorter fifth gear ratio for improved high-speed acceleration and higher straightaway speeds.
Power will remain unchanged, with the 8.4 litre V10 engine producing 600bhp and 760Nm of torque. The Viper can go from 0-100km/h in under 4 seconds, and go from 0-160km/h and back to 0 again in 11 seconds. Top speed is an indicated 325km/h.
The hardcore Viper SRT10 ACR (American Club Racer) version will get a new short-throw gear shifter and a redesigned rear wing profile and end plates for 2010. Dodge says that these changes allow the ACR to reach a higher top speed of 296km/h.
Dodge also unveiled two special editions of the Viper at the Los Angeles Motor Show, the first in a series that will be launched throughout 2010.The first is the Viper ACR 1:33 Edition, which alludes to the new lap record set by the Dodge Viper ACR at the Laguna Seca raceway.
The 1:33 Edition features a unique two-tone Black Clear Coat / Red Clear Coat exterior colour scheme which is the exact inverse of the original ACR model. Inside, the 1:33 Edition features piano black console bezels with red gauge highlights complemented with red accent stitching in the seats. Only 33 units of the Viper ACR 1:33 Edition will be made.
The other special edition unveiled at the Los Angeles Motor Show is the Viper ACR Voodoo Edition, which features an all Black Clear Coat exterior with a Graphite Driver's Stripe outlined in red. This version will be even more exclusive, with only 10 examples to be produced.
