Citroen DS3 and C5 Serie Noire released

The DS3 Serie Noire features a matte black exterior, a gloss black roof, chrome accents, and 17-inch alloy wheels, while the interior comes with Mistral / Lama leather upholstery, gloss black trim, a premium audio system, and GPS navigation.

The DS3 Serie Noire will be available with two engines. The first is the THP 150 petrol that produces 154bhp and 240Nm of torque, while the HDi 110 diesel churns out 110bhp and 270Nm of torque. Citroen will limit production of the DS3 Serie Noire to just 750 units.

The bigger C5 Serie Noire sedan meanwhile, features a matte Perla Nera exterior with matching 19-inch Hephaïs wheels, while the interior comes with Criollo leather upholstery and a Samoa microfiber roof liner. The C5 Serie Noire comes with two engines as well, a HDi 200 DPFS and a HDi 240 DPFS V6.

The C5 Serie Noire also comes with Citroen's trademark Hydractive suspension, which controls vehicle attitude in real time to keep ground clearance constant regardless of load, to deliver a unique mix of performance and comfort. Vehicle attitude is automatically lowered at high-speeds, for improved aerodynamics and lower fuel consumption.
