Aston Martin kicks off Cygnet sales with special editions

The Cygnet, which is essentially a rebadged and reengineered Toyota iQ, will go on sale in April, featuring the same 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 98bhp as the Toyota version, with a choice of a six-speed manual gearbox, which is able to send the car from 0-100km/h in 11.6 seconds, or an optional CVT automated transmission.

The Cygnet White edition comes with unique Snow White paint, with a mix of silver mesh, chrome brightwork and White Diamond turned alloy wheels, while the interior features seats hand trimmed in Pearl white leather with perforated Alcantara inserts, complemented by satin chrome.

The Cygnet Black edition, meanwhile, has Magic Black metallic paint with a specially developed deep sea green effect, contrasting with matt black louvers and chrome brightwork. Inside, the Black features pure black full grain leather for the seats and dashboard, perforated in a specially-developed diamond pattern, while dark chrome accents adorn the cabin.

Both Black and White editions come with their own custom-made set of Bill Amberg five-piece luggage set in black leather and fabric, with the set consisting of a glove box bag, removable door pocket bag, holdall, garment bag and a collapsible tote bag. The Cygnet Black and White editions are only available for a limited run, and will go on sale across Europe by April.
