Whether you're travelling in style in your drop-top car or crammed into the family Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) with the kids, nothing helps to wind away those endless kilometres of road like multimedia entertainment.
While music and DVDs are great, mobile TV can add some much-needed variety to the mix. Taking your TV on the road doesn't require the tedious task of strapping an aerial antenna to the roof and plugging any old set into an inverter. In fact, it is incredibly easy to implement with the Pioneer HD DVB-T2 TV Tuner (GEX-1750DVB2).
Pioneer HD DVB-T2 TV Tuner
The Pioneer HD DVB-T2 TV Tuner (GEX-1750DVB2) is Pioneer's recently launched digital TV tuner. It can be operated via receiver touch panel displays for selected Pioneer multimedia receiver models, allows users to access television programs seamlessly and even record them.
Unfortunately, there is no signal reception in basements and tunnels as with other TV tuners in the market. But based on our experience, there was an almost instant signal return upon exiting these premises.
The Pioneer HD DVB-T2 TV Tuner (GEX-1750DVB2) can be easily connected to any head unit via an AUX or HDMI connection. Besides the standard remote control, the TV tuner can also be controlled via touchscreen on compatible Pioneer multimedia receivers* when connecting with Pioneer's proprietary RGB interface.

More significantly, if these avid fans of the 'big screen' miss their favourite TV programme, they can do a direct recording via USB - even when the car's engine is switched off.
Channel, 5, Channel 8, music videos and re-runs of favourite movies - it's all good with the Pioneer's latest digital TV tuner and with this device, consumers can watch free-to-air TV and movies every day, anytime and anywhere.
The Pioneer HD DVB-T2 TV Tuner (GEX-1750DVB2) is retailing at $429 and it comes with a one-year warranty. It is available at all Pioneer authorised retailers.
