There was no subsonic control on one of the amps I have that I'm using to run speakers specifically for midbass. The amp itself has a crossover that Im using in the lowpass mode. I used the rear channel on this crossover. I used this crossover in highpass mode to make sure the midbass speakers didn't dip too low in Hertz. So between this crossover and the amp itself I can keep the midbass speakers right in a certain range allowing for just that range to reach the two 8 inch midbass speakers. I feel it was a pretty ingenious idea myself. Once you collate knowledge about steps to get an amazing sound system, you'll find that crossovers are something really nice to have, and I would recommend that you get this Audison AV CX 2W MB for the start!
