Even though 5 farad is rated for up to 5000 watts, I used this capacitor for a 2000 watt amp. Still there is absolutely no headlight dimming or throttle response issues. I used to have a cap with no digital display and checking operating voltages was a PITA, the display on this unit is worth every penny because I can see what the amp is drawing and the bass kicks with no lag because the capacitor has enough energy to never need to overdraw from the battery.

What I like
The problem of headlight dimming and throttling issues were solved with these.

What I do not like
Slightly expensive.
