Since then I have driven round Singapore under various road conditions and weather, and have had no problems with them. When cornering, the body roll was more of a concern than the tyre grip. Even after 30,000 km I could take winding roads with confidence in the tyres. However, they don't feel so good in wet conditions. Sometimes the loss of traction is noticeable for a split second, especially on a slope. Overall, it is a reliable tyre that's served me well.
What I like
Good balance between comfort and performance
What I do not like
Not very good in wet conditions

These set of Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 grips to the tarmac like glue, sticky and plants the car on the ground even while aggresively driving or cornering. It doesn't perform all so well while on wet tarmac though, and I've experienced slight skids with slightly worn treads. Other than that, this tyre provides comfort and less noise while driving on normal dry conditions.
What I like
Grips well on dry road, making driving at high speeds and aggressive cornering effortless! Price is also just right for what it does!
What I do not like
Performance on wet road conditions is quite bad.

These Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 are excellent during my past experience with these set of tyres.. t these Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 have been great, grip wise! They last quite long, especially if you're careful on how to rotate the tyres.
What I like
Great gripping power for such value tyres.
What I do not like
They aren't performance tyres, thus do not risk pushing it over the limits.

These were the fitted tyres on my car when purchased it. And I have to say, they are a great set of tyres! The road noise can be a little loud but other than that, it grips well in both wet and the dry. The feedback you get from this tyre is also reasonably good. They do tend to twitch when you hit a bump or go over slightly uneven road surfaces but they grip through it. Coupled with the traction control system that I have in my car, I have no problems with driving in wet or the dry with these tyres! The added bonus is that they are more environmentally friendly than most other tyres, as they have a low rolling radius and so you don't need much engine power, helping you to reduce your CO2 emissions. I would recommend this tyre if you're looking for a good all rounder.
What I like
It performs well.
What I do not like
It lacks in areas like noise and twitching when going over a bump.

These tyres had quite abit of complains that I simply do not recognise from my experience of them. These are touring tyres not street racer tyres, so blaming them for losing grip tells me something about the driving style of the reviewer. I have not found the ride to be uncomfortable, in fact, quite the opposite! Noise levels are unobtrusive, grip on wet and dry conditions has never let me down. Wear is awesome, a very slow rate if well maintained (rotation of tyres). If I have any complaint at all it is with directional stability, which can be slightly vague on a dead straight road.
What I like
Performs well on long journeys, providing really smooth and comfortable rides.
What I do not like
Would definitely be a turn off for performance-hungry drivers.
Okay tyres that are the longest lasting ones I've had so far | Posted on 01 Jul 2013 |

The tread really lasts long. It's actually the longest lasting out of all my tyres. The grip is alright on dry tar, but it suffers a bit when it rains. The stopping distance is just average, and the same goes for the noise. The main draw of these tyres is definitely the long life.

These tyres had served me well for the past 2 good months. I usually cross over the borders to visit relatives, and these tyres had assisted me in an even more comfortable, smooth and quiet rides. In Singapore, where I will mostly drive on proper roads, these set of tyres gave effortless safety and comfort in my driving. It is quiet while doing its job; not all silent, but quiet. Maneuvreing through city roads was quite a breeze with these tyres, but it has quite a bad side when going through a bend or cornering at moderately high speeds. On wet roads, it does grip fantastically, almost on par to the other average gripping tyres. On not well developed tarmacs across the border, handling was a blast. Performs way better than most normal tyres, for it being a touring tyre than a normal tyre. This is my first touring tyres though, so I couldn't put it into comparison with other touring tyres. But I must say these set of Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 performs really well! Also, much less noise while going through piles of rocks and stones. For these 2 months, I see that the wear of the thread isn't all that bad, considering I constantly drive on improperly built roads.
What I like
The optimum performance of these particular set of tyres on uneven roads are great!
What I do not like
Doesn't have that much of a desirable wet grip.
