Honda Civic
Review
Had these coilovers installed on my ride with much ease at my friend's workshop. The performance of my car have been greatly enhanced upon installing these. My car now responds more to uneven road surfaces though, and overall ride is definitely more bumpy. The car is more planted through corners with less roll but there is still some roll at higher speeds. This might be due to the tyres which have a softer sidewall. Basically, there will be sacrifices upon getting better 'track-worth' performance. Based on my personal opinions, the car is still quite comfortable and will not punch your kidney like some may suggest. Humps have to be taken slower compared to stock.
What I like
The cornering ability of my ride is now fabulous! Puts a smile to my face while taking corners aggressively.
What I do not like
Expect less comfortable rides with these coilover since they stiffen up your suspension.
Good build quality and lots of customization options | Posted on 09 Sep 2013 |

I started out with the softest setting (aka super soft) first and I thought I was sitting on a dozen down cushions. Yes, it was that comfortable. Even on street softness setup, it was still really comfortable while still able to handle my cornering. On medium stiffness, it really began to shine when I put it through my aggressive driving style. It turned every corner at high speeds with minimal body roll, and responsiveness is great. Only gripe I have about these shocks is that the advertised 30 clicks adjustment is actually more of 15 clicks as there is not much difference from one click to the other.
What I like
Super comfortable on the softest settings while still being responsive; extremely responsive on medium; many options for customization
What I do not like
30 click adjustment is actually more like 30 half-clicks

This coilovers really cheap but damn good! Managed to lower my IS350 by about 1 inch infront and half inch behind, and somemore the handling is very solid. The ride comfort also very shiok, and I can customise the spring rates to what I like. Very good!

Unlike many other members here, I don't race my car anymore, so I was just looking for a decenty priced coilover set to improve the performance of my car while still being comfortabel. The stock suspension was very sluggish in terms of handling but it was acceptably comfortable. However, this coilover blows the stock set away. It handles much more responsively now, and is even more comfortable! Somemore I managed to lower my Is250 by about 3/4 inch. Very worth the money spent.

I'm actually very pleasantly surprised that a coilover at the price I paid for it can have such great performance and it managed to drop my 370 by about half inch (anymore and I'll start scraping humps). I use it both for regular day-to-day driving and on weekends, on the Pasir Gudang or Sepang circuits. Monday to Fridays, I set it up for comfort and some performance, and my ride is so smooth I can probably fall asleep. However, the car is still super responsive and when I corner or u-turn hard, my car is firmly planted on the ground.
When is time to become the weekend cicruit chiongster, I set it on about 24 clicks (32 max) and I'm cornering at over 100 like nobody's business even though my backside hurts a bit from the stiffness. I really enjoy driving and circuit racing with these coilovers!
What I like
Drops my car nicely and makes my car a pleasure to drive in any situation
What I do not like
Nothing.
Wonderful coilovers that are very decently priced | Posted on 19 Jun 2013 |

I wanted coilovers that can handle my aggressive driving style and still be comfortable, so I got this one. It was everything I wanted and more. At the most comfortable, the ride comfort was unrivalled by anything else I have ever tried. And at the hardest settings, my back hurt, but cornering at speeds of over 120km and jam braking at over 100 is not a problem at all! And the compromise between performance and comfort is very easy to achieve.
Best part is that this coilover set won't burn your wallet. Very worth your cash!

I was looking for coilovers I can drive on normal streets and track with (lazy to change lah) so I got this set. I started out with the softest setting (aka super soft) first and I thought I was sitting on like a dozen down cushions. Yes, it was that comfortable. On street softness setup, it was still damn comfortable while still able to handle my cornering. On medium stiffness, it really began to shine when I put it through my aggressive driving style. It turned every corner at high speeds with minimal body roll, and responsiveness is great. I turned it to full hard on track and it was damn power! Every turn is nothing at high speeds now!
Only nitpick I have about these shocks is that the advertised 30 clicks adjustment is actually half clicks, so I had to adjust quite alot before getting from soft to hard.

The installation of these coilovers is straight forward, Install went without a glitch. These coilovers are very comfortable and more comfortable than stock suspension. I know its not a very good comparison to stock suspension as there is softer than stock. The BC Racing ER just absorb all the little bumps! I would not mind taking this car to long road trip! So far I heard nothing but positive things about the ride from my friends and family. They can be easily adjusted for more dampening.
What I like
It is very comfortable.
What I do not like
Poor left-to-right matching
