Review
I am in love with this tyre. Super stiff sidewalls and an unforgiving ride. Lots of tyre noise and shocks shivering into the cabin. But the raw connection with the road is just so sensational. You can feel every bit of the road. And when it comes to enthusiastic driving, the tyre has so much dry grip. I used to be able to only exit at a particular bends at 80km/h on the Pirelli P7. Before that it was up to 90km/h on the Michellin PSS. Now on the RE-11, it's 100km/h. When the tyres are the only things connecting your car and the road, you will only want the grippiest. And this is the grippiest.

What I like
The connection with the road.
The response to steering corrections.
The dry grip.
Slight increased in fuel consumption (used to be getting 500km before low fuel light turns on. Now it's 450km).

What I do not like
Average wet grip, have to slow down on rainy days.
Loud tyre noise, there is a noise pattern that occurs around 70 to 80kmh but disappears at 90kmh onwards.
May be too stiff for our poorly paved roads.

I installed this on
Honda Accord

Review
Was using PSS before this but it wears out after 30000km despite having a 300 thread wear rating. Changed to a new set of RE-11A and what a difference in comfort and cornering. Sidewall is harder than PSS so you can expect the ride to be a bit bumpy. But cornering feel is better and the noise level is lower, which is unexpected for a extreme performance tyre.

Noisy level is lower than other premium brands

Price a bit on the high side
