Review
Prior to installation of the APEXi Active Tail Silencer, I had always been stopped by the Traffic Police while idling for mistakenly loud exhaust sound. I was actually just using stock exhaust on my Civic. These got me so annoyed that I went to go ahead and find a silencer. Came across this on the net, and decided to go ahead and give it a shot. Truthfully, it had not only made idling sound much silent, but had sound louder while on the move at much higher rpms (which in Singapore would be tough to find a road that allows you to do so). So yes, these had kind of troubleshoot the annoying Traffic Police stops.
What I like
The ability to make the idling quieter, yet made it sound louder while on the move. Doesn't affect performance too!
What I do not like
Tough to get hands on these, and if you do, they're quite pricey.

The design of in the centre of the silencer is actually spring loaded and as pressure builds up, it will open to allow more sound or gas to pass. There's no noticable power loss. It's whisper quiet until you get on it, and even then it isn't that loud at WOT. It's very impressive piece of engineering. As I know that it uses the same active valve technology as the PS Revolution exhaust system. It allows effective sound suppression for the street, without the power loss under high load. It's really awesome!
What I like
It's give you much more quietness at nearly identical power output.
What I do not like
I find it quite expensive.
