Very effective on scratches and water marks as well as bird shit stains.
Best use with rotary polisher at low speed. Product flash up very fast with high speed.
Does leave some micro-marring. Best is to use with Ultimate Polish to clear up the marring.

This product works better than I could have imagine. I've removed a large paint scuff from my bumper, a scratch from my hood and a 5" scratch from the passanger door when a purse dragged across it. I strongly recommended Meguiar's Ultimate Compound as I was blown away by the results! Application was definitely a breeze, and so was the removal. Upon completing the task, my car gave a superior shine, and I did some extra steps to have a mirror-like finish. Definitely something I would recommend to most car owners, or to even those that have dull looking cars!

I did a test spot of the Ultimate Compound (UC) by hand on the hood of my heavily-swirled and scratched SUV. I was impressed with the job it did by hand, so I decided to do the whole car using UC.
