Benefit
- Longer interval between service compared to Silver spark plugs
- Very good corrosion and oxidation resistance as well as erosion resistance
- Consistent ignition performance over the entire service life
Top performance using precious metalsPlatinum is a precious metal and it is also the most valuable metal for Bosch spark plugs. It offers the lowest thermal and electrical conductivity of any of the precious metals as well as the least thermal expansion. Due to the fact that it is largely resistant to corrosion, Bosch platinum spark plugs also have a particularly long service life. Our platinum iridium spark plugs feature a copper core and precious metal electrodes. Double platinum spark plugs are provided with laser-welded platinum tips (center electrode) or the electrode is platinum-tipped (ground electrode).
Core benefits of bosch Platinum spark plugs
- Rapid attainment of operating temperature
- Increased cold starting reliability
- Protection of engine and catalytic converter
- Set electrode gap
- Fine platinum iridium electrodes for enhanced ignition and smooth engine operation
- Ideal for use in gas-driven vehicles
