Review
Forget about the how different the new car looks, the Land Rover Defender is back and it is an awesome thing to drive.

What I like
Driving the new Defender is a real treat. To start, there is that ridiculously tall seating position. You sit eye-level with truck drivers and people in the bus its like a whole new driving experience.

All five doors shut like vault doors and everything inside and out just feels solidly built.

And despite the car's size its actually quite easy to place on the road. The mirrors are huge, and the electronic rear-view mirror is very easy to get used to.

Power from the mild-hybrid 3.0-litre is more than sufficient, and its fairly quiet and still oh-so-smooth even when you're pushing it hard.

What I do not like
Nothing much really. You get a bit of pitch and dive which can get irritating if you're driving and get stuck in traffic. But it is a big and heavy SUV after all.
