I've been driving FIT G since Jan 2008. Currently clock at 48K mileage. Till date there isnt any issues or problems. Average FC 13.5 & lots of savings in terms of ware & tear parts. I've not change any parts till now, even original spark plugs can be used till 60K. Cheap road tax, fuel, maintainence... what else can i ask for:)
The only issues i have will be the braking system. It takes a longer distance to stop the car, IMO its a little soft. Pick-up might not be as good as a 1.6 but certainly great for all 1.3 model. Ivtec technology is a plus factor. Interior design is good & the trademark steering wheels & meters r sweet:)

What I like
1 Good FC
2 Nice exterior/interior
3 Cheap to maintain
4 Lots of aftermarket parts
5 Good resale value
6 Cool aircon *even after 3 years
7 Driven by timing chain

What I do not like
1 Suspension *look abit weird for the gap in between the tyres & fender. Need to lower the car to look better.

2 Brakes- braking distance

3 Sound from outside can be loud- need to soundproof a little

4 No spare tyres, using original Honda tyre kit

with over a million units sold globally... it speaks for itself.

the new iVTEC FiT mated with a newly designed CVT is just glorious.
it can be comfortable as well as sporty at the same time.

What I like
everything!
the iVTEC powerplant, the acceleration, the 'ultra seats', the road-holding, the ergonomic interior... & the CVT (although i'm not a fan of CVT's).
let's not forget that this is just a 1.3L automobil.

as for the FiT RS... its a true contender to the swift sports. albeit the swift sports having a shorter ratio gearbox... its just isn't as smooth as the RS's manual gearbox.

anticipate the corner, brake-heel/toe-downshift & chuck it in, then open the throttle wide to exit.
very satisfying, i must say! & it puts a grin on my face. :)

What I do not like
what's there not to like about the FiT?? :)

overall, its a great package. buy it with no regrets.

Been driving my Fit for 3 months now.

No regrets getting this car. I get in and i'm all smiles... This car is everything I expect it to be.
Look around on the roads when you drive. Count the number of Fit's/ Jazz you happen to see.

Need i say more?

What I like
Internally Spacious. 2 of my Fatty Friends including me can sit without cramps. haha.

Wonderful 1.3 Engine, its only 1.3, yet you dont feel like it!

Plenty Aftermarket Parts. Can make the car look like a spaceship, feel like one too!

Value for Money... Less petrol cost... Road Tax... bla bla bla.

Many cup holders... Honda Fit encourage you to drink plenty of water!

Boot space OK for a hatchback!

What I do not like
Hopefully none... but no car is perfect.

Time will tell.

Bought a Honda Fit 1.3 GF Model for 3 months now.

Very satisfied with its performance so far.

Can't compare to the japanese 1.6 or continental cars, but this car definitely beats most 1.6 korean cars and some 1.6 jap cars easily! In terms of drive and practicality!

Very smooth transitions between gears.
The FC is over-rated but I can still achieve 15.2km/l easily, sometimes 18 if I try.

Although the price is abit more expensive than its class, I personally feel it's worth it!

What I like
- Engine
- Spacious Boot, and Magic Pull-up Seats!
- i-Vtec rocks!

What I do not like
- Alot of wind noise
- Quite light

I bought this car due to it's reliable i-Vtec engine. After driven it for 03mths, problems starts to come in which the braking are not really effective. I send it to the agent and inform them about the braking problems, they just say "Nothing Wrong With The Brakes".
I went to the experts and they told me, I'm not the only person to complaint about the Honda Fit 2008 model that have braking problems with the car.

One month later, the automatic gearbox also starts giving me problems. When I was reversing into the parking lot, the gearbox starter to rumbling noisy and could'nt engage into the reverse mode although the the handle is shifted into "R" but the car just couldn't move and stuck there and I have to try several time to get it working.

I send it to the agent again, they still tells me nothing wrong with the car. From the experience from Honda Cars, I will never but another "Honda" Brand anymore.

Firstly - Price Is Always Rocket High Compare To Same Spec Car with Only Different Brands.

Secondly - Replacement Of Faulty Honda Parts, Price Is Always 2-3 Times Higher Than Other Brands.

Thirdly - Performance of Honda Brands Car Compare To 10Years Ago, It Stability & Performance Drops Like Crazy And Price Always Never Drops.

What I like
Sporty Looks

I have driven this car more than 10 times. Personally, I dont think its a fantastic car, and wont recommend to buy unless you can get it real cheap, like maybe at price of a Vios.

What I like
- Air-con is cold
- Reliable (so far no problem)
- No blind spots
- Exterior styling is real cool
- Seats are comfortable

What I do not like
Main thing I do not like is its CVT gearbox. Utterly no power when moving off. At slopes, its even worse! Have to almost floor the accelerator to move off when on slopes.

Handling is not fantastic. Maybe need to upgrade the rims, or lower the ride.

Dashboard is way too long. I have to stretch real hard to reach the IU unit. I'm 1.8M tall! Its basically a huge waste of space.

I do own a HONDA FIT 1.3 and I got to say that it is a good and economical ride to own!
My FC currently is 13.9km/l which is not the best among those that owned a Honda FIT, but it is already consider very good!

What I like
1. Stylish Outlook- The exterior outlook is definitely much better then the previous Honda FIT. But in my opinion, I think it is the best looking hatchback around.
2. Economical- Very Fuel Saving car, which is a good thing for our pocket
3. Big boot space- the boot is very big!

What I do not like
- As what some has commented, the cornering of this car is not very smooth, but we don't do Daytona in Singapore anyway, so shouldn't have much of a problem getting used to it.

- External noise coming in to the car.

It is my first car. Find it easy to maneuver. with retractable mirror. for people who buy a car mainly to drive around alone, it is sufficient. I only refilled my petrol after about 12 days. saved quite a lot

What I like
1. The large windscreen and high seat which allows me to see far.
2. Modern interior and exterior design
3. Good Fuel consumption...
4. My friends said that it is spacious...which i dont know why. maybe it is
5. the large boot

What I do not like
1. light hence not very steady compared with car like Toyota Altis.
2. back passenger seat could have been larger
3. Back passenger winds cannot be fully lowered

I own a Fit GE but i wouldnt say Fit is a good car and with the same rationale, i wouldnt say it is a bad car... but it is an ideal basic car serving the needs of an individual which needs a reliable transportation from point a to point b... I have been driving it for abt 4 mths and have clocked 12km on the mileage. i will juz give some feedback on this little popular choice.

What I like
1. fuel consumption wise, no doubt, is very good and is constantly giving 14 km/l if i drive as usual, and the worst fc that i got is probably ard 11 km/l which i abused it to get such a figure, i.e. L or S mode for that tank... (to clean out carbon? biggrin.gif)

2. cheap servicing and easy maintenance

3. lots of aftermarket parts (which i dont even bother as i decide to leave it stock - to save money of course. i spent a lot of innocent and hard earned money on my previous car - which literally made it a very uncomfortable car, i.e. lowered, full-body kit, exos... etc. perhaps the age has caught up with me, btw, im 26 only biggrin.gif)

4. big windows all round

5. high resale value (which i dun think u guys will disagree)

What I do not like
ok, let's talk abt the weaknesses of this car

1. super light-weighted and it makes this car not firm/steady above speed 80km/l

2. external noise entering into car cabin easily - need to rectify by doing soundproof

3. cheap plastic throughout (but not prone to scratch though)

4. rattling all over (which can be solved too)

5. no boot T_T

to sum up, i would say fit/jazz is really pretty basic car that serve needs of an individual looking for point a to b transportation. but if u r looking at comfort and advanced features, definitely, you have to look elsewhere...

Just got the Fit 1.3GF Skyroof and its a great car.. even though i am quite a heavy footer, i still manage to squeeze out 15km/l out of it, for average drivers should be at least 17,18km/l.. despite its small looks, it can seat 3 adults comforably at the back even with the front 2 seats pushed back for legroom! Its large dashboard also give you many options for decorations. For couples with kids.. get the skyroof, they will love it!

What I like
Great Engine (1.3 Litre Japanese I-vtec beats any 1.6L korean model anyday)

Good fuel consumption (but dont expect 20km/l even though the brochure says 24km/l.. that is acheived only at their test track at a 1 hr constant speed)

Roomy interior (comparable to a honda civic) and large boot space

What I do not like
Pick up not as powerful as other honda sedans but of coz again, beats any other korean/china made 1.6l engines.

Cornering is not that smooth but with a few days of driving, you will get used to it.

Overall, great car to own (but a little bit ex.. whose cost you will cover back in fuel and resale value.. OMV approx 16k!)

Just got my Honda Jazz yesterday and decided to write this review. Having driven two cars prior to Honda Jazz, I must say this new car is the best in these areas:

Design - Smaller than my previous two cars but enough space and comfort

Drive - Offers much better drive than my previous two cars

Fuel Consumption: Unbeatable! I don't think any car come close to this efficient car

What I like
Design - I am a sucker for hatchback and Honda Jazz/Fit 2009 model is simply a beauty. Of course you can't compare it to other sports model but for a small family with kids and still want to look hip and young, Honda Jazz/Fit doesn't disappoint.

Fuel Consumption - Before I bought this, I hear of many comments on the FC. Gosh, it is the BEST car on FC for a car I ever driven in the last 10 years.

Parking & Turning - it is so easy to park and the turning is very good without having to try too hard with many rounds.

Colors - I love my yellow. It will be perfect if they have Lime Green.

What I do not like
Not Enough Compartments - Jazz/Fit enough to store 10 bottles of mineral water but you don't really need capacity for 10! Rear side doors lack compartment slots which is a pity because they are useful to store things for rear seat users.

I owned a Honda Fit two years ago and i bought it thru' a PI car dealer. It is a 1.3 litre i-DSi auto. This car is really good in terms of performance and handling despite its small engine capacity. And also the CVT transmission is really smooth. It is easy to maintain but do take note that its auto transmission is using CVT system so you CANNOT use auto transmission fluid!(ATF).

What I like
A true Japanese hatch-back! Really value for money! I wonder why when asked if the official car from local agent whether it is from Japan, their answer is YES, when there is a manufacturing plant in Thailand?

What I do not like
Nothing.

Very smooth, I can say zero noise and hardly can feel the engine noise. very comfort for driving, low fuel consumption. I will definitely recommend this car to my friend and also the excellent/friendly sales and service.

What I like
Excellent interior and outlook, FC, Comfort in driving etc... and it fit into my expectation.

What I do not like
Bit uneasy for long drive steering as there is no hand rest.
