Audi's volume seller looks pretty much the same as before. Do not be fooled, however, by the retained looks - the real work gets underneath the hood.

Executive Car only if you can comfortably afford one `

A good car with decent power and handling characteristics. Drove a A4 1.8 TSFI, acceleration though not class leading now, it can be felt especially if you dial to sports setting. Steering feels vague however is direct.

Handles well but lack features `

Test drove the A4 recently, the handling of the car is nice. Pick up is good and a very stable and sturdy feel.

Not a fan `

Had to test the A4 myself after hearing so many things about it. Eliminated it not because it is a bad car but there were just nothing special for me to overcome the many bad reviews. I was not disappointed at all, just not motivated.

Buy with Caution ( DSG gear box on 1.4T or 1.8T) `

If you buy a car for looks, no doubt this will be a pretty good choice, however the 1.8T DSG is a disaster. I believe I do not have to speak more since many Volkswagon sharing the same gearbox has gear judder issues and many had to change gearbox within warranty period. I hope Audi and Volkswagon can seriously review to use a more robust gearbox from ZF, just like Maserati, they have issue with their semi automatic and now all their new models are ZF 8 speed, similar to BMW. I would say leave the gearbox to the gearbox expert like ZF. With issues even within warranty period, it will cost a bomb to replace the gearbox once warranty is out.
