Good three series alternative `
|
|
With the IS, you get, for the same money, a better engine than the base 320 with more displacement and more cylinders. I am not saying the IS is better than a bmw 325 but to me it is more value for money than a 320.
Reliability is top notch and in 4.5 years the only problem was the air con vents got blocked by leaves which is not a technical fault. Servicing costs are not prohibitive .
Rear space is very poor so check this out if you are above average height .
The car is really quiet, smooth though there is some road noise on rough surfaces .
Some people denigrate Lexus as just a hyped up Jap car but before you plumo for a compact exec you should really try this car before deciding.
personally between my old bmw 2.2 and the Lexus I would choose the latter for the better engine and less costly ownership. If you are driving enthusiast who must have the best handling car and can afford a bmw 325 and above, then get the three series.

Most comfortable Car i've owned `
|
|
This is the 7th vehicles, i have owned to date, and i would say this is the most comfortable car among the other 6 which includes Subaru Legacy GT, Tuscani, Lancer, Civic and old Corolla.
It may not be the most powerful among the lot but i like it the most. The styling, the features that comes with the car really makes operating the car a brisk, you do not even have to think when to turn on wiper, headlight, adjusting seats, adjusting mirrors, plug in keys. You just have to put your hand at the door, it will detect the presence of the smart key and once door open, the seats, mirrors and steering position are adjusted what you have paired with the key, impressive!

Overall a excellent car to drive. The V6 engine roars to life once you step on the gas. Overtaking is a breeze. Mark Levinson sound system is one of the best around.
Handling is without much excitement but still do the job very well. Can be better if F Sports coilover and springs are used.
US and Euro versions come with navi system. Too bad can't find it in Singapore.
