Not much power yet thirsty `

Drove it up to KL. Not much power for the older version(2004). Fuel consumption cant even match with avante.

Simply love my car `

Went shopping for the new Mazda3 model but ended up with the 2008 Mazda3 SP. Simply do not like the cheesy smiling face at the front of the new model, something too odd for a car of power and strength. Really love my Mazda 3. Fuel consumption wise is very reasonable imho, at most just 20-30 bucks/mth more compared to cars with top-notch FC. For the power and pickup it brings, it's worth it. Overall well-designed sports sedan to own, feels luxurious unlike other jap cars of around the same price which are boring to have and look cheapo

Nice car `

Drove to NSH recently. Juz wanted to feel and get to know the car much better. Really enjoyed driving this car over a long distance. Car felt heavy and grips the road well. You dont really get lethargic. At 140km/h you can still hear the music without difficulty. (Previous ride @ 130-140km/h better switch off the music because you can hardly hear. Only engine sound!). Even the children sleeps quite easily as the ride is comfortable. Note: Children gives honest feedbacks! The steptronic gearbox also provides smooth transmission and engine revs easily without much noise and stress. FC: When fuel gauge light gets illuminated the odometer reads 570km. This is about 45 litres. Full tank is 55litres. That works out to be approx. 12.6km/l. (Not bad! 90% h/way & 10% urban). Only wish that this car has a cruise control and sunroof and maybe a supercharger just like the VW Jetta 1.4. Then I will probably drive it for a full 10years. Verdict: Well worth the price for a 1.6 ride and yes you get people looking at your ride when you stop over at the NSH R&R!
